At the end of Nov 2017 we purchased a leather couch for R23 000 from Fielli. This amount was not its original price. Its original price was much more than this. In January, as my wife was busy cleaning and wiping the couch, she discovered a tear on one of the folds of the couch. She immediately reported the couch at Fielli and she got hold of some guy who is a sales person (i have his name). He promised to send some people to come and assess the tear. After numerous phone calls with no one from Fielli coming to assess the couch, my wife requested me to contact the store myself.
The same promises were made. I emphasized to this guy that the longer this goes on, the bigger the tear because everytime someboy sits on the couch, its like the tear expands. i requested to speak to the manager, after realizing i cannot trust this guy anymore. The Manager promised to send people on the 12th Mar. This is after he had requested me to send pics of the damage, which i complied and sent the pics. On the 13th Mar i contacted him and wanted to know when is he sending the people. He said he is sending them on Sat of the 17th Mar.
To date nobody from Fielli has been to my house to assess the couch. The first time we reported this to Fielli was beginning of February and we are headed to the end of March now.
For a company that prides itself for selling good quality stuff, Fielli is really a disappointment.
I am now busy drafting a formal grievance that i want to send to the ombudsman.
I am really disappointed at this company and cannot believe how their representatives can be such liars. I mean from the man on the floor right up to the manager in the office
