In April 2017 I bought feilli sofas from Bradlows. I settled my payment in less then a year. In October 2017 we had a fire in our building my couches were not burnt but damaged by smoke. I called the factory they offered me Brand New Sofas as they were still under guarantee. I got these in April 2018. Fast forward 2020, my furniture is broken and torn. Do they this make real leather? I'm so not happy. These didn't even last 5yrs. When I called the factory I got no assistance

I bought a couch last year in November 2018 at Fielli Woodmead, and the sales person is a guy called Jerry. To my surprise, I discovered that there is a motor missing missing. when i inquire , I was told that there was a problem with the current motor and it has been ordered at the head office (Durban). But I felt I was robbed as I paid in full. If I knew that, there was a problem I wouldn't have purchased it. Now I have been e-mailing the head office (Durban) and my since March 2019 and my mail is not been answered. I don't know why Fielli woodmead is been so unprofessional, as I don't owe them but they do.

At the end of Nov 2017 we purchased a leather couch for R23 000 from Fielli. This amount was not its original price. Its original price was much more than this. In January, as my wife was busy cleaning and wiping the couch, she discovered a tear on one of the folds of the couch. She immediately reported the couch at Fielli and she got hold of some guy who is a sales person (i have his name). He promised to send some people to come and assess the tear. After numerous phone calls with no one from Fielli coming to assess the couch, my wife requested me to contact the store myself. The same promises were made. I emphasized to this guy that the longer this goes on, the bigger the tear because everytime someboy sits on the couch, its like the tear expands. i requested to speak to the manager, after realizing i cannot trust this guy anymore. The Manager promised to send people on the 12th Mar. This is after he had requested me to send pics of the damage, which i complied and sent the pics. On the 13th Mar i contacted him and wanted to know when is he sending the people. He said he is sending them on Sat of the 17th Mar. To date nobody from Fielli has been to my house to assess the couch. The first time we reported this to Fielli was beginning of February and we are headed to the end of March now. For a company that prides itself for selling good quality stuff, Fielli is really a disappointment. I am now busy drafting a formal grievance that i want to send to the ombudsman. I am really disappointed at this company and cannot believe how their representatives can be such liars. I mean from the man on the floor right up to the manager in the office

I am very disappointed in your service. I bought a "genuine leather" lounge suite that is fraying after 1 year of purchase. I bought this suite in March last and reported it in May this year only to be told that it is out of warranty. I did pay for leather protection as per invoice. I have owned genuine leather lounge suites before but have never seen this type of fraying and quality of manufacturing before (look at the photo of the arm of the one chair). The leather is creasing. This lounge suite is in my second lounge (I have a TV room) and does not get a lot of use.

I am not convinced that this is genuine leather. I would like my suite to be repaired or replaced as this is not the quality that I have come to expect from Fielli.

I purchased a Lounge Suite from Fielli Designs in Canal Walk. It took me a month of going back and forth to the store, until they were finally able to secure one for me. The lounge suite cost R25000 and an additional R2000 to have it scotchguard.

I stressed to them that it has to be new, with no defaults and I did not want it to be left on the store floor.

To my disgust, when they delivered the lounge suite, it was in a small, old van. They put the settees upside down on the floor of the van, with no packing on the floor. The settees were piled one on top of another, upside down.

When they carried the settees into my home, they lay them upside down. This damaged the arms. It suppressed it and made clear impressions and caused the areas that were smashed against the floor, to be sunken in. The leather was also disfigured at the places where the pressure was exerted on.

In addition, the settees is light in colour and had dirt marks on them.

When I called to notify the manager, he said that all he could do was to refund me. I was not happy with that, as I had invested over a month of my time and expense, going up and down to the store, being promised by the staff that they will get stock. Now that I finally had a lounge suite, I was not prepared to start looking all over again.

The CEO, Neil, made it sound like he was doing me a favour, also told me that he coudl do nothing except refund me, or take it back for repairs.

From past experience, they do more damage when they take it back and try and have it repaired. They fix one side and damage the other. I observed the manner in which the settees were handled upfront and I did not want this to going back and forth for fixing. I had enough of waiting. Anyways, why shoudl I pay for a new item and then have it repaired.

I was totally disappointed with the service and attitude from Fielli Designs and will never walk into the store again.

I went to buy the Brown Morazi lounge suite at Woodmead, after I had communicated with the store manager over the phone on Monday, informing him that I will come and pay for the suite on Monday. Even today before I went to the store I called the shop just to remind them that I was coming and I was told I can come. When I got to the store I was told to wait, they need to call the head office first. Few minutes later I was told the head office will call back after 5 minutes I think 30 minutes later I received the second feedback. “I need to pay so that the lounge suite can be loaded onto the truck that is leaving Durban today at 1pm”.

1. I was told this after spending more than an hour at the store.
2. When I asked for an email to confirm that I am paying for a lounge suite that is available, I was told that is not possible.
3. I was told then I should come back at 1pm, and head office would have confirmed availability of the lounge suite. (another 2hrs of driving)
Chat Conversation End
