Please make sure to read your contract when joining this gym. They won't mention verbally that when your contract expires it will automatically change to a month to month contract that needs to be cancelled by giving 30 days notice. I only realized they were still deducting 3 months after my "12 month contract" should have expired. I called and spoke to a manager who pretty much told me "tuff, you should have read your contract" I asked her multiple times if there is nothing they could do for me. She just kept on repeating that I should have read my contract. I find very disappointing that when I signed up, I specifically asked if they have a month to month option. I was advised they don't. But now, after collecting my money for a further 3 months, the "month to month" option apparently exists. Even after explaining that I feel mislead, they did not even try to mediate the situation with any kind of solution. They would rather leave you feeling like money was ****** from you or that it's your own fault. Very sad times we live in where companies does not give a damn about individuals and would rather lose customers that show compassion for something they do have control over.

When you join this gym they tell you,you can cancel the contract any given time,I canceled my contract due to relocation and was told I have to continue paying the gym,few months later I was handed over,now they are threatening to get me blacklisted!!!

Really bad place the people don't care...I've applied for R 360 monthly not long after I've lost my job and try to make a agreement to settle it with R100 a week(R400 monthly) and denied me and give me over to dept review on prosperitas legal

I am highly disappointed with the service of this gym as well as the way the staff and MANAGER treated me. My boyfriend and I joined, was happy until he broke his knee and could not attend the gym for the rest of the year (2021). I tried to explain to them our situation. The first lady said they can help, I should send a Doctor's letter. Called again after a while then it was a different story. I emailed them constantly asking for help to end the contract we couldn't pay the whole amount upfront so I kept paying eventhough we're not using their services. They kept changing the amount I should pay. One month it's R720 the next one it's R1020. So my bank stopped the debit order itself, I didn't go to the bank to stop my debit order, I was more than happy to pay and get it done with eventhough we didn't make use of their service. The manager kept calling me, I answered and I once again explained our situation for the millionth time, her reply was what don't you understand, we're going to give you over. She is the most rude person I've ever talked to. They don't treat their clients well, they just care about the money. They have no sympathy and they don't even try to help. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I've heard so many stories that are the same as mine.

Do not join this gym! They do not communicate with their clients and dont answer emails until months later. I started to gym there a month before lockdown. When lockdown hit, I mailled them continiously and phoned them to cancel my membership as its only been a month and lockdown started so there was no way to gym in anycase. I explained to them that my my work is now only giving halfpay due to lockdown and I cannot afford the gym in anycase anymore. They continued to debit my account even though I made contact with them to stop. They have no respect for people, they just care about their money at the end of the month but not the clients satisfaction. They disregarded all of my emails and still went to blacklist me. Absolutely pathetic, have not even been to the gym for 7 months. Do not join this gym, there are better gyms out there which takes care of their clients and treats them with respect. Do not join this gym!! They do not care. I went to gym there 4 years ago, got I spinal injury, the doctor gave me a doctors note to give to the gym to cancel my membership as I am not allowed to gym anymore at that time. They even disregarded that letter and my apology that I cannot gym there anymore, yet still they wanted to blacklist met if I do not pay the remaining months balance. Totally absurd. This is not how a gym should be taking care of their members. I will never go back to figure fanatics again.
