I took my car in thinking that my gas cylinder needed to be filled for my aircon (well aware that I don't know much about cars). They told me clearly that if there was anything else wrong with the aircon besides the gas they would phone and discuss it with me prior. I took my car in at 07:30 (it was booked) and by 16:30 I went to find out what was happening, they reported that they think that it might be another part of the aircon, however they were waiting for the part to arrive to test if that was truly the problem. I agreed to leave my car overnight and would fetch it in the morning. During this time I received absolutely no communication except for the 2 times me and my husband followed up. In the morning I got an invoice with an amount nearly triple the amount they initially said it would potentially cost the previous morning (but clearly stated they would call me if there was any change). No phone call, nothing. Just a bill with a large amount of money for work that was already done to my car without checking with me first. When I queried why I wasn't phoned first - "Sorry, we got really busy." Totally unacceptable - I echo all the reviews that say poor service and terrible communication.
