I just need to share my dissatisfaction, being a tea ***** and not feeling well, I opted for a tea instead of cold drinks or alcohol. It was just an office lunch to round off the year. I ordered and was served a pot of tea for one except the teabag had nothing to steep on, I called the waiter to show him that it was literally hot water and asked if they can bring me another teabag. To my surprise on payment I was charged for 2 teas, I called the manager directly for him to resolve the matter, instead he was adamant that they charge when 1 pot gets a 2nd teabag. Does it mean I had to drink hot water and milk and get charged for no tea? Manager on duty this afternoon was just nonchalant and never sent the waitress to apologize for the non communication of their rules. Fireroom no more, and failed me on a lousy pot of poor tea, although the menu is fairly pricey, but i didn't mind the support.

I'm writing this review as a warning to others after a very bad dining experience at Fireroom, Castle Gate that left us severe stomach cramps and diarrhea for 24-48 hours. Despite its upscale reputation, the food served was clearly not handled or prepared with the care one would expect from a high-end establishment. The symptoms started hours after our meal, and what followed was a night of intense discomfort. Given the timing, it's evident that the food was the culprit. All of us got sick. This is unacceptable, especially considering the prices and the expectation of quality that comes with dining at such a restaurant. To make matters worse, when I contacted the manager to report the incident and express our concerns, I was met with empty promises. He (Shaun) assured me he would get back to me, but I've yet to hear from him, even after I went to the Restaurant to speak to him in person. It's disappointing that a restaurant of this caliber fails not only in its food safety but also in customer care. We hope the management takes immediate action to review their food safety protocols and improve their communication with regular customers.

Dear Management of Fireroom, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received during my recent visit to your restaurant. As a loyal customer, I expected a certain level of quality and service that unfortunately was not met during my dining experience. Upon my arrival at Fireroom, I was not greeted warmly or given the welcome I had anticipated. To add to my disappointment, the steak I ordered was undercooked, which was very disappointing and not up to the standard I have come to expect from your establishment. Furthermore, I was informed by the staff that I did not need to order dessert as it would be provided as part of the special occasion, which in this case was my birthday. However, the dessert that was presented was underwhelming and did not meet my expectations. To make matters worse, it seemed that my friends received more attention than I did on my special day. The waiter was not friendly, and I felt neglected throughout the evening. Additionally, I was taken aback when the complimentary sweets that were meant for me were taken away before I had a chance to enjoy them. Overall, my experience at Fireroom was far from satisfactory, and I believe that improvements need to be made in order to meet the high standards that your restaurant is known for. I hope that you take this feedback seriously and address the issues that I have raised to ensure that future customers do not encounter similar disappointments. We arranged a private room for an engagement celebration at Fireroom Castle Gate on Sunday night and everything was exceptional. The food is delicious, and the service went beyond expectations. Upmarket prices but well worth it - Highly recommended.

Are they understaffed or *********** waiters? It took ages to get service, and it took longer to wait for drinks! Wines advertised as "out of stock"? We were never approached by any Manager to enquire about our meal etc. Very expensive compared to similar restaurants.

Loved the experience! Always know my food is gonna be on point when I go here. Waiters also very accomodating.
