I just wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service provided by Suzanne Koster, during my recent order. From the very start, her attention to detail and prompt responses made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. I bought a Dell docking station from dell.co.za which turned out to not be strong enough to power my Dell laptop (I found within 3 days and reported it timeously to both Dell and First Technologies). First Technologies is obviously a reseller for Dell as on the invoice they are named (in their emails they reply from First Shop so I assume they are same). I reached out to both Dell and First Technology / First Shop and they both point to each other for return and refund which I requested. First Technology/Shop told me I need to contact Dell whatsapp to get their consent; Dell says I must take it up with the reseller. Weeks later I have an unused docking station and no refund. The service is pathetic; they don't care. They are all ****e I am posting this on both First Technologies and First Shop reviews because at least I see with First Shop they read and respond.

Excellent service from Odelia, Jarred and Happy on the return of a faulty mouse that was desperately needed following surgery. There were no arguments or hassles, they helped us troubleshoot the problem and once it was established the device was faulty, they arranged for a replacement to be sent immediately. I can definitely recommend them.

Excellent service from Odelia, Jarred and Happy on the return of a faulty mouse that was desperately needed following surgery. When I put Dell into my search engine, it gave me Dell Online. The guy that services my laptops, did not know that one can buy directly from Dell, neither did my nephew who is an IT specialist. I must admit, I was SCARED to buy from them. I did not know if Dell Online was a ****, so I went onto DELL International and I chose South Africa and it brought my right back to Dell Online. ( I felt confident that I am not going to be minus R30 000 + and minus a Laptop ) So while I was on the site busy ordering, I phoned DELL to make very sure that they do indeed have it in stock. I got through to Suzaan Koster from First Technology IT Supplies ( an agent company of DELL) who confirmed it was. Then my OCD kicked in and I came here onto Hello Peter and I was right into doubt again when I saw all the bad ratings. I shared my feelings with Suzaan and I asked her to please not disappoint me, and she did not! I ordered Thursday 7th of March and I received the monitor on Monday 11th and the Laptop on Tuesday 12th March. Suzaan Koster, thank you so very much for your professionalism and your speedy action in getting my Dell Laptop and Screen to me. I will always go back to you when I need something from Dell.

Do not do business with this company they don't honor their Refund policy. https://www.dellonline.co.za/policies/refund-policy They originally has a 30 day Refund policy (in Dec 2023) and I presumed it was the same as Dell's. They are NOT Dell and are a partner company. I thought that the 30 day refund policy would cover the laptop I bought and wasn't happy with, but no, they said once you turn on the laptop its seen as "used" and cannot be returned. i was given the run-around between Sales and p.s. - they have changed their refund policy now to 14 days.

THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER. The 1st and last time I will be doing business with these company. It has been more than 5 days since I ordered. I'm waiting for an update, this Fernando Duarte(account manager) character does not take my calls nor respond to any of my emails. They claim 1-3 days delivery around Gauteng but Officially now 5 days tomorrow since I ordered. As if that was not enough, their customer service lady Sheena Willemans claims the truck was hi-jacked this morning...Ironically on the day I was promised delivery. FIRST SHOP/FIRST TECHNOLOGY is a sh*t show...DON'T BUY FROM THEM

Poor customer service!!! I was sold a patently defective product but instead of organising a refund for me or offering me a replacement product they are ignoring my queries/complaints. I hope that anyone who was thinking of buying anything from First Tech reads this and reconsiders doing so, and chooses a different supplier.
