This is the worst company to use. They have no idea what they are doing. I paid for damages, and I have a refund due. Getting a refund from them its like drawing water out of a stone. Flexclub will let you as the client deal with Avis sh**** and not protect you. If its not incorrect billing, its them refusing to refund you and threating you with car collectors. Never use AVIS and FLEXCLUB

I called Flexclub , and i noticed that they are selling services they do not understand and are not able to provide answers . i also noticed the trend on always blaming Avis when they are the ones selling the service and everything happens in their platform . My question - I noticed a trend of people contracting for a certain period of time for XX amount , and before their contract ends there is an increase on premium and this increase is not communicated , and is outside the agreed amount and contracted period . What happens when this increase is not budgeted for by the client since is outside the agreement , Do i surrender the car i had planned to use for XX period( wouldn't this be an inconvenience to the client and breach of agreement) or I'm forced to pay the increase ? they couldn't answer this and blamed Avis and now I'm worried before i even take their car

I am extremely disappointed with FlexClub’s recurring and unauthorised price increases on my vehicle subscription. Within a span of just two months, my monthly fee has gone from R6,773 to R7,170, and now to R7,500 — without any prior notice, justification, or communication. This is a blatant violation of the Consumer Protection Act, which requires clear and transparent pricing, as well as proper notification of changes that materially affect the consumer. The complete lack of transparency and disregard for customer communication is unacceptable. I received no emails, no SMSes, and no official notice informing me of these increases — just silent deductions that keep growing. This practice feels predatory and exploitative, especially in the current economic climate where affordability matters more than ever. If this trend continues, I will be left with no choice but to cancel and share this experience across platforms to warn others. There are more affordable and transparent alternatives, and I will not continue supporting a service that silently shifts financial burden onto its clients. I am demanding: A clear and immediate explanation for the price hikes Written assurance that proper notification will be given in future A review of your pricing and billing policies in line with consumer rights FlexClub, fix this — your customers deserve better. As long as you don't cancel the contract and have to get your deposit back you are golden, I have never in my life struggled this much with a company to get my refund, in March I was told 15-20 business days for the refund, we are in May, still awaiting my refund, eventhough they have given me a proof of payment a week ago, now I the new excuse is, that it is a Nedbank error... Always excuses no real answers or explanations....

On 20th March I paid my flexclub subscription. I accidently double paid it and informed avisbudget and flexclub thereof. After numerous emails from my side, I was told that the refund has been processed, this was last week Tuesday 25th of March 2025. I sent another email requesting for the proof of payment still nothing. Today is the 31st of March 2025 and I still have not been refunded. I keep on getting stupid calls and stupid apologies for both flexiclub and avisbudget.. I don't understand why I must beg to get my own money back. I sent email to Lwazi.Mtungwa and Mariolise Visage(The supervisor), I even went to the extent of sending an email to the CEO Ramasela Ganda regarding this matter and my emails are just being ignored. I must say this is flippen ridiculous and extremely bad service for such a big organization. I don't know what to do anymore. It's the last day of the month and bills needs to be paid.

I was ****** off R1400 of my refund. Only R3676 was refunded from a possible R5608. It states on their website that I can return the car at any time before the subscription ends without any penalties yet flexclub and Avis charged me for that. Flexclub and Avis also charged me for 2202km extra kms even though I already paid for extra kilos for a total of 4500kms. Lots of discrepancies between flexclub and Avis and when you have a problem they refer you to Avis who know nothing about this arrangement with flexclub. You pay for 4500kms and Avis gives you 2100 and charges you extra for the other kms on top of what you paid with flexclub. They don’t answer their phones and their “speedy” WhatsApp assistance takes 3 days per WhatsApp reply. Would not recommend. A daylight **** between them and Avis.
