Fliber was suggested by Evotel, but I have found a lack of transparency with this company. They provided a link to sign the contract, and when I spoke to the sales consultant about setting the debit order for the 10th of each month, I was advised that it could be adjusted after the activation of the line, as there was only an option for the 1st of each month.
I made the payment today and called again to request the adjustment, only to be informed that the debit date cannot be moved. This means I will incur a R250 reconnection fee every month due to insufficient funds, as I only get paid on the 10th.
I requested to cancel the service, but I was informed that there is a R3,500 cancellation fee. I am unsure why this fee applies, as the installation was already paid for with a previous company that also used Evotel as their service provider. The connection only required a button press on their side, with no need for any physical installation.
