I was so disappointed with the service I received at Filber Newcastle. I complained about my WiFi loosing signal and not connecting for weeks and nothing was attended too.i had to go their offices and complain and only then they paid attention to problem. And then they tell me I May have to pay for their call out fee. For Signal problem that’s coming from their side. I found them very unprofessional and it’s not nice paying for service and not getting what you paid for.

How can an internet company sit without internet for so long? My net has been down for 2 days now, due to a break. Yet my line had a break and did not take 2 days to fix. How can it take so long? Surely if you are qualified and well equipped for the job to fix it it should not be taking this long. Between Fliber and Evotel. I was supposed to hand in an assignment which was difficult to do without internet. But its mos not their internet thats off right so whats the rush to fix it? Not like other peoples lives can be affected by it or anything.

How can an internet company sit without internet for so long? My net has been down for 2 days now, due to a break. Yet my line had a break and did not take 2 days to fix. How can it take so long? Surely if you are qualified and well equipped for the job to fix it it should not be taking this long. Between Fliber and Evotel. I was supposed to hand in an assignment which was difficult to do without internet. But its mos not their internet thats off right so whats the rush to fix it? I have been with fliber for sometime now. In this period I have had numerous problems. My most recent problem was trying to upgrade my line speed. A month ago, I upgraded my line speed and from a 10 to a 20, and the line speed kept showing 3 or 5. I have made numerous complaints, for weeks going backwards and forward they could not get the speed right. It reached a point during my personal time I had to use my private laptop for there Consultant to connect on, where I also had to follow steps as if I work for fliber. That took 3 hours of my time. After that the line speed went to 16. The consultant told me it won't be 20 or 19 because other applications are using the line. At that time everything was off besides my laptop. Fliber billed me from the time they changed the line speed, yet it was never the speed I needed it was so low every time i checked it. I work from home, and every single time throughout the day I have network problems. There's times my phone sends me a notification saying, can't connect to internet connection until stable again. Or switched to mobile data. I have had disputes with fliber how unfair this is, and how can I pay for a service like this, upon all this I received no help sorting the problem. When watching tv, my Netflix starts to buffer. It's quite frustrating when you need your wifi to work and its not yet monthly Im billed.

I have been with fliber for years but all of a sudden my tarrifs changed without any notification of the increase and thereafter myaccount is suspended and showing that i am overdue

I recently registered for Fliber wireless Internet for my home, within 3 months of them my Internet provider I am not happy and happy with their customer service.

Poor customer service.. They upped their price and Internet went from bad to worse. Had called in in 02 December 2024 to switch packages for a decent maybe better experience. They told me change would take about 3monts but there's still no feed back from their side nothing.. . Package I'm on currently network goes down whenever it rains, they take long to respond to a query about it. On their website they say value for money clearly that's not the case just one headache after the other. Truly has been a frustrating horrible experience

Could I please get a number that I can call when I have queries. The whatsapp service really does not work for me. When I need some help or just a simple query, I have to wait hours for a response. And when I reply back immediately after a response form them, I have to wait hours again. This is ridiculous. The internet service, I don't have a problem with but this whatsapp line, I cannot deal with. My query to them: " Is there a Fliber app where I can track things like my usage, user control, etc. Check who is on my network, change password, etc" That's all I asked after they asked me how they can be of assistance almost 2 hours ago.

Fliber was suggested by Evotel, but I have found a lack of transparency with this company. They provided a link to sign the contract, and when I spoke to the sales consultant about setting the debit order for the 10th of each month, I was advised that it could be adjusted after the activation of the line, as there was only an option for the 1st of each month. I made the payment today and called again to request the adjustment, only to be informed that the debit date cannot be moved. This means I will incur a R250 reconnection fee every month due to insufficient funds, as I only get paid on the 10th. I requested to cancel the service, but I was informed that there is a R3,500 cancellation fee. I am unsure why this fee applies, as the installation was already paid for with a previous company that also used Evotel as their service provider. The connection only required a button press on their side, with no need for any physical installation.
