Our family recently booked a Women’s Day trip through your agency, and the experience was deeply disappointing from start to finish.
When we made the booking, your agent accepted our payment and confirmed there was space for our whole family. However, a week before the trip, one family member was suddenly informed that you had overbooked and there was “nothing you could do.” We booked as a family if there wasn’t enough space, we should have been told at the time of booking so we could make other arrangements with another agency. How disappointing was it to hear of that phone call as we all had planned to go together. The owner said he would sort it out and we all ended up going.
On the day of the trip, the notice we received clearly stated to be at the pick-up point by 6:00 AM or risk being left behind. We arrived before 6:00 AM, stood in the cold winter morning for two hours, and only departed at 8:00 AM. Standing outside in the damp cold, with dew falling on us, is not only uncomfortable but unhealthy. This delay was prolonged further by dancing and music just to “buy time” for the buses to arrive from picking up passengers from all over. If buses aren’t ready, give customers the proper time instead of making them wait unnecessarily in harsh weather.
The advert promised bottled water for travel. No water was provided to us ,when I asked during food distribution, I was told they would check and never heard back. A second person who I asked later told me it was “finished.” If the trip included bottled water for everyone, this should have been available to all passengers. It should have been given at the beginning of the trip on the bus.
The food quality was poor. The breyani had no taste, the meat was of bad quality, and to make matters worse, the cool drinks provided were expired ,the Coke expired in May 2025, and the Sprite in June 2025. Serving expired drinks is unacceptable and raises serious health concerns. My mum and I didn’t drink the cool drink as we had carried own so we finished what was opened already. When I got home I noticed the buddy coke was not sitting stable on the counter so I decided to check the expiry date and indeed it was expired. If anyone still has their cool drinks please check it.
When we arrived at Golden Horse Casino, the bus parked extremely far from the entrance, forcing us to walk a long distance just to use the facilities. The owners wife openly displayed irritation and said, “I’ve had a long day and don’t have time for this” in an arrogant tone when addressing a food order mix-up. Frustrations may happen in any business, but staff/owner should never vent them directly onto paying clients.
To end the trip, we experienced over an hour of complete disorganization when it was time to leave. There was confusion over who belonged in which bus, reshuffling passengers from different areas, and even disputes breaking out. This chaotic handling showed extremely poor coordination and planning.
This was our first trip with Fun in the Sun Tours, and it will be our last. We cannot recommend a company that fails to honor its bookings, serves expired drinks, provides substandard food, leaves customers waiting for hours in the cold, and treats them with disrespect.
We hope you take this feedback seriously and improve your booking processes, time management, communication, and customer service standards.
