Where shall I begin? I bought a TV stand from this company, via Takealot. Everything looked so nice and the price, was quite good, but then, my parcell arrived. Firstly, the assembly chart does not match the parts that should go together. Certain parts that are supposed to go together on the assembly chart, are mixed up, when it comes to the actual assembly. Secondly, the manufacturer should have drilled ALL the holes required, to assemble the whole unit. LEt me explain. I do not having experience in hanging doors using these new type of hinges and battled to get the doors hung. They eventually do align 100%. Thirdly, the doors of the stand, swings too far inwards. This problem can be overcome, by magnets, onto which the doors can close, but they only supp**** one magnet and one metal plate, that goes on one of the doors. Therefore, the door that does not get a magnet, is still swinging in too far. I have contacted them now and the assistant said I should mount the magnet between the two doors, so it can stop both doors, from swinging in too far. Logically spoke, I should then cut the metal strip in half and fit the two pieces on the doors. Duh!!! Fourthly, the unit comprises of two parts, that can slide in and out, to expand the stand - make it longer - or to make it shorter. There is nothing that prevents the paper thin layers that the unit are covered with, from picking up scratches and even tears, when expanding or compacting the unit. Fifthly, the whole thing sags in the middle. I had to put spacers under the feet, to try to get it sort of level. Conclusion: Even though the unit looks very nice on the pictures on Takealot, I am very disappointed in the end. After reading the reviews of Artisan Furniture I will definitely not purchase anything, even on Takealot, that has been supp**** by them.

Wish I had read the reviews before buying from these people. If you are looking for Quality then look the other way around. If not then uzozidola (you'll regret purchasing from this dub-standard shop). They don't even have a showroom. Do your self a favour and place your money where it's worth it

These people are a huge scam, please don’t make the same mistake I did and buy from them! I wish I had read all these bad reviews about them before I purchased from them, instead of reading all their false reviews online. I ordered the MIA couch on 27 July 2021 (to be delivered to Cape Town) and I have still not received it. After weeks of lies and false promises from them, eventually someone by the name of Smart gave me an address of their ‘warehouse’ were i could send someone in Joburg to go and view the couch I had purchased. I sent someone, and the colour and quality is completely incorrect. I ordered a genuine leather light tan couch, instead I got a pink plastic couch! Plus I found out that they outsourced it to another manufacturer for half the price that I paid, and havent paid the manufacturer in full, so they wont even release the couch to me. All I want is my money back, and they are ignoring all my communication. Companies like this make it so bad for other small businesses trying to make a honest living. These people need to be found and get the punishment they deserve! They cant go on scamming people like this!

I have ordered a bed and couch in November 2020 to this day i have not received my order and they claim to have 4 to 6 weeks lead time. I paid 50% deposit for the couch and about 85% for the bed. I tried numerous times to contact the business via emails , whatsapp , phone calls all in vain. They eventually delivered the bed which was the wrong size , colour and design. When i told them that this is not the bed i ordered i was told that i will be given 10% discount to keep the bed but my concern was i ordered a Queen Bed they delivered King so it means i have to buy new mattress and new bed lined for the bed that i did not order. I am beyond frustrated with Furniture Artisans and i have concluded that they have given me no choice but to take the matter to the legal team and they think i am bluffing. I requested to speak to the CEO and somebody named Smart sent me an email telling me that their factory caught fire and there is a delay on orders his email address has no signature , no phone number nothing , seriously why was i not told that their factory caught fire before i demanded the furniture that i ordered. They have zero customer service , zero communication skills and definitely zero customer care. They don't value you as a customer once they receive your money they forget about you. This whole ordeal has caused a wedge between my husband and I because when he discouraged me and told me that Furniture Artisan is a scam i convinced him to give them a chance. All i want is my money back so that i can go buy at a furniture store where they care about servicing their clients. They are no longer taking my calls , responding to Emails or Whatsapp messages. My lawyer must just deal with this whole drama i no longer have energy to fight for what i paid for. I told my mom about Furniture Artisan and she was ready to order from them once she sees our bed and couch , i was also going to order more items i am glad i didn't. I will never recommend anyone to buy even a tea s**** from Furniture Artisan unless if you are willing to fight for what you paid for. It is such a disgrace for a company that it is supposed to be giving their clients quality furniture but you must beg them to just give you an update on your order. Unhappy Customer

Furniture Artisans has still not delivered the bed I had purchased and neither have they reimbursed me my money that I had paid. It has been over 6 months now. Still total silence from the Managing Director, Rodrick Smart Ndlovu. I contracted COVID in January, was extremely ill and had to sleep on the floor as sick as was with me not having a bed. I have serious back problems as well and not having a proper bed to sleep on is making the situation worse. Rodrick, you and your company should be so ashamed of yourselves for what you have done. You'll are nothing but a bunch of fraudsters and have stolen my money. I am going to open up a case against you and take the matter much further as well. It's absolutely pathetic, especially in times like these to have companies like Furniture Artisans taking advantage of and ripping off consumers.

Furniture Artisans has still not delivered the bed I had purchased and neither have they reimbursed me my money that I had paid. It has been over 6 months now. It took me over two months to get a couch I ordered. The communication was very poor, I had to go back and forth with the company to finally have my couch delivered in the end though we came to an understanding and my couch was delivered.

This business is a scam!!! I’ve been waiting for my couch for over 3months!! They lairs and scams that will even go as far as saying that their warehouse has caught fire when you start threatening them!! Don’t even try send 1c to them!! Disappointing!!
