The worst service ever, paid in full in November & delivery was suppose to be in February. What a disaster, no one other than Logistic manager gave me a straight answer. The beds was only delivered 11th March after I said no delivery will cancel my order. By far the worst after sales service I got.

I ordered a king size base over 5 weeks ago. Initially I was told 3 weeks. It is now going into the 6th week and I have not received it. I have sent four emails in the past two days and had no response. I called today and was promised a return call which I never received. The most awful customer service I have ever received. Stay away from Furniturespot.

I ordered and paid for 2 bedside pedestals on the 5 of November 2025. It was supposed to take 25 working days to completion. It was finished on the 10 of December but was not delivered to the address as originally stated. In January after repeatedly contacting the company I was told that it has left the warehouse. Then was contacted to say that it would be delivered the last week of January. it did not happened and I contacted the company to get a refund. Then was phoned by the warehouse to say that it will be delivered first week of February. That did not happened. then the second week of February was told that the courier company has picked up the pedestals and that the waybill will be send to me immediately. Delivery would have been on the 10 or 11 of February. I never received the waybill neither the pedestals nor a refund

DO NOT make a purchase from Furniture Spot ! I have bought items on 6 October 2025, and no delivery yet. Vague feedback, dishonest updates and empty promises. This is the worst experience I've had with a retailer.

I bought a 3 seater couch on June 17th, they told me it will be delivered in 6 weeks. The 6 weeks lapsed and there was zero communication from their side. I had to call and enquire about my order yoh I was told stories about why it wasn’t delivered on time, they had to order fabric to cover the cushions blah blah. The delivery kept on getting postponed, I was promised a Monday after the cusion covers were delivered to them the previous Friday. Come Monday, they tell me it’s not done but Tuesday latest. Come Tuesday they tell me all their delivery trucks are in Western Cape. I was fuming at this point, then my couch gets delivered I think on the Wednesday or Thursday. The couch was beautiful and I was happy that it looked exactly how I imagined it but guess what, in less than a month of having my couch, it started making funny sounds (the planks) when I sit on it, I called them and they fetched it for repairs. I had to call them nd enquire bout the progress as they were not saying anything and it was long gone. It was returned and they promised it is now fine. As I’m writing this review my couch has started with the funny noises. I’m extremely disappointed that this is happening, a 10k couch that’s not even 6 months old. We work so hard for our money to get this low quality furniture, in this economy even. At this point, I do not have the emotional capacity to deal with these people I just want my money back, I’ve had a similar experience with some other bed shop and it was so exhausting and emotionally draining doing so many exchanges and still getting the same results

My experience with The Furniture Spot has been nothing short of appalling. I placed two orders on 15 and 16 August for a Floating Platform Queen Bed and pedestals, after visiting their factory and being assured of delivery within four to six weeks. Twelve weeks later, I had neither my furniture nor my refund. After multiple follow-ups and broken delivery promises, I was told that the production team had made the wrong-sized bed and that delivery would be rescheduled. No updates followed, and only after persistent calls did I request a full refund on 27 October. Even then, I had to keep chasing the team for weeks before anything happened. What made this experience unacceptable was the complete lack of communication, accountability, and respect for customers. There was no proactive feedback, no ownership of errors, and no urgency to resolve a problem they had created. I only received my refund after escalating directly to the Managing Director through multiple channels. It is extremely disappointing to see such poor customer service from a business that promotes itself as proudly South African craftsmanship. Customers deserve transparency, professionalism, and timely delivery, none of which were demonstrated here. I would strongly caution anyone considering buying from The Furniture Spot to proceed only if you are prepared for repeated delays, unfulfilled promises, and significant effort to recover your money

Absolutely shocking service - ordered and paid for a couch and told delivery could take up to 25 working days. Numerous phone calls later (made by me as furniture spot salespeople don't call back as promised) only to be told that there is a delay as they did not receive enough fabric to complete the couch - this was told to me twice! Surely if you are in the business of manufacturing furniture, you should know how much fabric is required to cover the couches manufactured by you! I am on the point of demanding a refund and cancelling my order - will most definitely not recommend or purchase from Furniturespot. Unprofessional, unhelpful and as far as I can see, very dishonest!
