Car was send in for canbelt replacement in December 2016, which was just under R12000. Invoice included a 10000km or one year service guarantee on the canbelt. in July 2017 les than 6000km the canbelt broke again, we towed the car in ourselves and promises were made that they will fix it asap without any costs from our side if the supplier supplies the parts. We only received the specialist report on the 10/08/2017. It is now the 12/09/2017 and promises still not made, keep on telling us stories and that we have tp pay R5600 for the canbelt even after the report from Autoba which cleary states I quote "The nature of the damage characteristics exhibited by the timing belt suggests that INCORRECT PRACTISE was deployed in the replacement and/or installation of the associated componentry onto subject engine. Seperation of belt teeth from the timimg belt construction is normally attributed to one or a combination of the following conditions, not being limited to." Two months later the car is still not fixed because nobody at G tech wants to take responsibility. The owner is also never available to speak to, now we want to get the car away there for a second opinion in Johannesburg, but we must pay R2200.00 before car can be released. This is totally unprofessional and I refuse to pay for a mistake which was not my fault. I will take this matter further and I will never refer anyone to this company. Promises promises and no delivering or honourable answers, lies, lies and more lies every time!!!!
