I recently had a frustrating experience with GameGenius.club, and I believe their service is an internet ****. While I was downloading an app for my new health monitor, a webpage popped up requesting a payment of 1 euro. Believing this was the app fee, I entered my credit card details, unintentionally subscribing to their service. Realizing this mistake immediately, I contacted their support team to cancel and request a refund.
While they initially acknowledged my cancellation request, they attempted to withdraw a "cancellation fee" from my account, which I had fortunately already blocked. Their subsequent response raised even more serious concerns.
I was told that to receive a refund, I needed to leave a five-star review on Trustpilot, specifically mentioning an employee ("Phoebe contacted me"). This demand felt ********* and coercive—refunds should never be contingent upon leaving positive feedback, especially when the service itself was unsatisfactory.
Despite my follow-ups, I have yet to receive a refund or any meaningful resolution. Their lack of transparency, accountability, and manipulative practices make me deeply question the legitimacy of this company.
For anyone considering GameGenius.club, I strongly urge caution. If you’ve had a similar experience, I recommend reporting it to relevant consumer protection organizations such as the European Consumer Centre (ECC), FTC Report ***** (US), or Action ***** (UK).
