Poor quality work and service by Garden Cities!

I would like to post a complaint against Garden Cities in Cape Town.

I bought a property in Pinehurst about 2 years ago. Garden Cities built this house.

My home is just over 6 years old and the tiles in my living room just popped out a couple of months ago.

I tried to claim from the insurance, which indicated that they will not honor my claim due to defective workmanship.

I had another building contractor inspect the damage and he informed me that he has never seen such poor quality work.

On questioning the developer about the quality of their work I got a bad attitude from them, they were being dishonest and didn't even have the professional courtesy to send someone to inspect the damage.

I am so disappointed because I bought this place thinking that Garden Cities deliver good quality properties.

I was very wrong - Please be aware if you are thinking of purchasing a property from these guys. They build for quantity, not quality. You will end up paying much more when you have to redo your home's flooring in a couple of years.
