We had a confirmed and fully paid family room booking and had informed the hotel that our son uses a wheelchair. On arrival at approximately 21:00, we discovered that his wheelchair could not fit through the room and bathroom doors. We were advised that the only alternative was a paraplegic room with a connecting room at an additional 50% cost, which we could not afford. After 22:00 on New Year’s Eve, we were told that without paying the extra amount, no assistance could be provided. We were also denied an immediate refund, leaving us without accommodation or access to our funds. This experience felt discriminatory, as the advertised family policy did not apply to us solely because our child uses a wheelchair. Six days later, we are still awaiting our refund.

Good day My husband and I were very unhappy with our stay First we had very bad service from the restaurant the rifts grill and bar Both evenings we waited over an hour for a simple malva pudding The staff was very disrespectful my husband asked for the bill they walked passed him waiting another 45 mins until he demanded it( this was an issue of race as all black customers came n went n were served politely. This was not the first stay at this hotel where we experienced the same treatment from the restaurant. Secondly we stayed in room 337 the first evening which was okay we moved the next day to a family room 650 in which we found hair in the bathtub as if someone was shaving and all the tiny hair was stuck the bath tub also had brown stains and the dresser was sticky. We immediately called n the manager came to inspect n we were told it would be cleaned. Only an hour later someone came to clean! Lastly reception staff was so rude again waiting for 45 mins to pay the bill and rudely questioned if we paid! For a southern this was horrible service, never did we ever experience such bad service at any hotels throughout South Africa as we frequent travellers I hope you can address this issue

Garden Court Milpark was the worst experience ever. My mother booked a room online in 2020 and upon arrival, she was told they cannot find her booking even with her proof of payment in hand. She literally had to make a new booking and they promised they would refund her. She STILL has not been refunded to this day after many complaints! Terrible and appalling experience to say the least.

I recently met with Hope Mabaso from Tsogo Sun to discuss concerns over how a matter had been handled by Tsogo Sun. Hope, a manager at the Hotel Group assured me that he would resolve the matter and provide me with feedback within 3 days. It has been 3 weeks and I am still waiting. I am hugely disappointed in Tsogo Sun having been a customer for a number of years.
