Bought a new inverter and batery set from gbs solar, had it installed by registered electrician, switched it on and BOOOOOOMMM!!!!! <br> We inspected the unit and found damage at the bottom panel of inverter. Took it back the following day as we all do when buying faulty goods. Then he blames mefor having it connected wrong. After trying to explain to him I took it out the box like this he claims it was a sealed unit in a box in perfect order.if I took it out and saw the damage why did I connect it? Bit you dont expect it to be damaged and especially you dont see it when damaged at bottom.still he blames me and says his unit was perfect.after trying to explain it could have been damaged in transport he still said no,and I must pay for the dammages.I am a poor man who used my last bit of savings to power my house for my wife to work from home during load shedding, I have the consumer protection act on this now,and will be seeing my lawyer's in the morning, I am also going to the news papers with this.DON'T USE THIS SUPPLIER!!!!! You get no invoice,no warranty, no returns policy, no money back! Just a bad attitude and a slap in the face! Once seal around box is broken,guarantee is out!
