NON COMMUNICATION, not keeping to agreements, NO COC, Missing ****le still not supp**** after 4 weeks
Bought a solar system with arrangement to pay once installed. Solar panels was installed and after 4 days of back and forth and no communication they told me they did not have stock of Sunsynk but can install Deye and that the systems are the same. I refused to make the change so they told me they could get Sunsynk from another supplier which they wanted 70% payment for the complete installation before delivery. I refused and paid the inverter and batteries worth on delivery. It took another week with multiple messages and phone calls without any response to finally get them to do the installation. The installation of just the inverters and batteries then took another 2 days and they wanted full payment before leaving. The system has been malfunctioning for almost 2 weeks now just to discover that they did not attach the ****le on the 1 inverter and that is causing the system to give incorrect readings. Its been 6 days still waiting for them to deliver and install ****le and to come fix the system. Again multiple phone calls and messages without any response (apparently they got ****le yesterday after 2 days - but I sent them the nr of someone that has one in the same town as them at a reasonable price) - still no response. Still no COC 2 weeks and still not received the ****le that was not fitted and which they now “found” but not supplying They trade under: RSA Solar Skynat Energy Energy Ex GBS Solar Risen Solar Phone numbers of people involved that refuse to resolve this issue: Peter Salanye - 0681139261 Ana Salanje - 0682500744 This nr as PSM 0683660862 Since they are all connected I suggest everyone ****med should report all these companies because they are all the same people

Wrong goods delivered and empty promises made
GBS (God Bless) Solar and RSA Solar and Electric are one and the same company. Beware these people will take you for a ride and claim innocent mistakes when things go wrong. They advertise widely on gumtree. I needed a 120Ah solar deep cycle battery and their price was great. Because of hellopeter reviews I was initially quite worried doing business from Cape Town with a Randburg-based company. I did my homework extensively for this item and brokered the deal via email and WhatsApp, running into many pages of conversations with Wiseman who assured me that all will be fine and 100%. I was quoted a courier cost although their payment options online do not charge shipping. This is a mistake with the web layout I was told. When the item had to be paid I all of a sudden had to arrange my own courier which I did. Then they botched the pick-up. It had to stand over to the next week. Initially they refused to ship although I submitted bank-stamped proof of payment. Eventually with the help of the courier's express service I received an item, a model with a completely different number and only 105Ah strong. When I queried this I was told by Peter of RSA Solar they never wanted to do long-distance transactions and that I am rude. They can exchange but at my cost of return courier costs. Wiseman kept on promising to make good but they have to wait for stock while at the very same time they are advertising the same items again on gumtree. I gave them a reasonable three weeks to fix the problem. This has turned to six weeks and my requests to get their promise in writing with an undertaking to pay the courier costs themselves have resulted in nothing at all. I shudder to think how a high value transaction might end up the same as this one. Please stay away, their PR and service leave a lot to be desired. To date I have also not received an invoice or a guarantee. They have offered a R100 refund to compensate for the lesser product but seem unable to fix their mistake with the correct item. I distrust this company and cannot help but wonder if the so-called mistake was not intentional.

Pathetic service and lies
Good day. I had a quote to do installation of solar panels and batteries with an inverter through this company. I paid them a deposit last night of R3000 to Peter as he asked to show good faith. They were supposed to come today to do the installation at 10am. I kept calling and they telling me that they will be by me shorty. I told Peter that if he isn’t here by 1pm then I need to leave as I took the day off. He then said that he will definitely be by me at 1pm. Then at 1pm he tells me he will be by me at 1:30pm. I then asked him to come the coming Monday as I wasn’t as home the weekend. To this he said that he can only do the job on Friday the following week. I then asked him for a refund of my deposit and he said no. Please don’t waste your time on this pathetic company as they are all talk and u get what you pay for. I am reporting them to the consumer protection tribunal.

Not providing a receipt OR warranty
I found GBS on www.gumtree.co.za selling solar panels, inverters and batteries. Trading under RSA Solar Energy & Electronics est. 1999 I requested the receipt from Peter (Hasting Salanje) after I purchased the system from them, provided the with their quotation which they requested again as they "could not" find it on their system and provided them with the proof of payments made to them. Initially they provided me with 9 x 330W solar panels, 1 x 10kVA hybrid inverter and 12 x 150Ah batteries which was faulty. The system is a 48V system, 2 x 12V panels are connected in series to add to a 48V system - meaning 9 panel would result in one to many, so we added 3 more panels, tested the batteries, I even agreed to take batteries that is were tested indicating a "health" of 90% just to complete the deal. The initial provided batteries (150Ah batteries tested at 50%) I purchased from them; 12 x 330W Canadian solar panels, 1 x 10KVA (6kW) hybrid inverter and 20 x 100Ah CSB batteries. I was promised 10 years warranty on the solar panels, 3 years on the inverter and 2 years on the batteries. ONCE THE INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE After nearly 2 months, numerous false promises, countless phone calls they still did not forward the receipt for the purchased goods and warranty that was agreed upon before purchase and as advertised and promised. Once Peter received the monies there was no talk anymore of the warranties. As mentioned, Peter would say "I am sending it as we speak", "I am sending it now". I am still waiting for the receipt and warranty. I can not complete MY money transactions without the receipt and warranties! I paid a total of R73,900 for the mentioned items and installation that was done half, once they received their money, they told me that I should pay extra to complete the installation. Do not do business with this company. I require my receipt and warranties as soon as possible. Can somebody please advise in action on this?

Inverter Batteries
I purchased 4 solar batteries from this supplier for R9000, and the invoice states a 12 month warrantee, ( although they said the batteries were good for 10 years plus) and 7 months later 2 of them were not working anymore. I went tho great lenghts to make sure that my equipment was not faulty,( I took my inverter in to be tested to a reputable inverter repair shop, at my expense, and they assured me, that after testing and faultfinding for 24 hours, there was nothing wrong with it. Gbs Solar threw all the books at me, stating enviromental conditions and all that crap, and I got so much use out of them, and the best they were prepared to do, was to refund me R700 for both batteries. I knew I was fighting a loosing battle, so I agreed, and furnished them with my bank details as requested. 3 Weeks later, nothing, despite my numerous e mails. I threatened them with this site and their response was, I am wasting my time, cause they export a lot of these batteries and also supply the government with them. People, watch out for these guys, PLEASE, as these batteries cost a lot of money. The fact that I am a pensioner didn't bother them at all.

Inverter Batteries

damaged goods/bad attitude /thief
Bought a new inverter and batery set from gbs solar, had it installed by registered electrician, switched it on and BOOOOOOMMM!!!!! <br> We inspected the unit and found damage at the bottom panel of inverter. Took it back the following day as we all do when buying faulty goods. Then he blames mefor having it connected wrong. After trying to explain to him I took it out the box like this he claims it was a sealed unit in a box in perfect order.if I took it out and saw the damage why did I connect it? Bit you dont expect it to be damaged and especially you dont see it when damaged at bottom.still he blames me and says his unit was perfect.after trying to explain it could have been damaged in transport he still said no,and I must pay for the dammages.I am a poor man who used my last bit of savings to power my house for my wife to work from home during load shedding, I have the consumer protection act on this now,and will be seeing my lawyer's in the morning, I am also going to the news papers with this.DON'T USE THIS SUPPLIER!!!!! You get no invoice,no warranty, no returns policy, no money back! Just a bad attitude and a slap in the face! Once seal around box is broken,guarantee is out!

Bought so called new 105 AH deep cycle battery for solar unit from them, when I connected the battery it has been used before it was scratched all round, and it would run out after 30 min and not 3-4 hours like my previous batteries, when I returned the battery they would not supply a replacement unit but was also unwilling to refund my money. There is a 1 year Guarantee but in any case means nothing as they are not willing to help in any way after they have taken your money. They accused me of lying saying that i never even bought the one set from them, do yourself a big favor and stay well away from these crooks...

Bought so called new 105 AH deep cycle battery for solar unit from them, when I connected the battery it has been used before it was scratched all round, and it would run out after 30 min and not 3-4 hours like my previous batteries, when I returned the battery they would not supply a replacement unit but was also unwilling to refund my money. There is a 1 year Guarantee but in any case means nothing as they are not willing to help in any way after they have taken your money. They accused me of lying saying that i never even bought the one set from them, do yourself a big favor and stay well away from these crooks...

When you phone the owner- Peter he doesn't answer his phone. They tell you that there is a 2 year Guarantee but this is not written on their hand written invoices but in any case means nothing as they are not willing to help in any way after they have taken your money, by the way they only take cash.
