<div>I requested a withdrawal on 5th August and then 5 days later they needed a bunch of documents from me, which I gave them. Finally, on the 11th August I received a mail saying that the deposit has been successful from their side, now I must give the bank 3-5 working days to process and then the money will be available. 3-5 working days. It is now the 23rd of August and I still have not received my money. The amount I requested has been deducted from my BANXSO account, but still has to reflect in my Nedbank account. On the app, there is a section where you can lodge a query, which I have done twice now and am still to be contacted by this bunch </div>
I needed 2 solar batteries and contacted Richard, phone no 072 170 4282, from Solar Energy SA, as there was advertsiments in all the online advertisers and on hid website as well. He informed me that as of late that his company now insists on a 50% deposit, as they have been defrauded too many times previously. I agreed, as everything on the web looked genuine, and he came to my house to collect the deposite. This was on the 9th of March this year. After having failed to deliver when promised, I contacted him and he said he was sorry as there has been a mix up from his suppliers side, but said he would deliver as soon as he received my batteries. I got a message 5 days later telling me that he has my batteries and that he would deliver that day. This never happened, and since then, he has used all the excuses in the book as to why i have not got my batteries. He even promised to pay back my deposit, which I accepted, and you guessed it, that has also never happened. Please people, DON'T DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE, as you will be loosing your money. Thankyou. And watch out, he is a smooth talker.
I purchased 4 solar batteries from this supplier for R9000, and the invoice states a 12 month warrantee, ( although they said the batteries were good for 10 years plus) and 7 months later 2 of them were not working anymore. I went tho great lenghts to make sure that my equipment was not faulty,( I took my inverter in to be tested to a reputable inverter repair shop, at my expense, and they assured me, that after testing and faultfinding for 24 hours, there was nothing wrong with it. Gbs Solar threw all the books at me, stating enviromental conditions and all that crap, and I got so much use out of them, and the best they were prepared to do, was to refund me R700 for both batteries. I knew I was fighting a loosing battle, so I agreed, and furnished them with my bank details as requested. 3 Weeks later, nothing, despite my numerous e mails. I threatened them with this site and their response was, I am wasting my time, cause they export a lot of these batteries and also supply the government with them. People, watch out for these guys, PLEASE, as these batteries cost a lot of money. The fact that I am a pensioner didn't bother them at all.
