I contacted Autotrader via the website and listed my car to be sold by them, they contacted me with an offer. Zander from CBK motors visited me at my home and had a look at the vehicle and we agreed on a price and did the paperwork. I was paid immediately.
Good day. Ordered 14 ZJ Beny DC SPD from Devan. Was an excellent experience, gave me a great price and my items were delivered the very next day. Awesome service.
Bought pine skirting online. Most of them had holes in them yet the fail to refund on the basis that it was primed by my painter. Digby the MD swears that the skirting is of great quality. Don’t buy skirting from this company whatsoever.
Good day. Please be advised that I have received excellent service from Builders Warehouse Rivonia regarding a petrol generator that was not working as it should. Ewan Le Roux, the service manager, refunded the faulty generator and gave me a really good price on a replacement replacement generator. He has excellent customer s****s.
Good day. I had a quote to do installation of solar panels and batteries with an inverter through this company. I paid them a deposit last night of R3000 to Peter as he asked to show good faith. They were supposed to come today to do the installation at 10am. I kept calling and they telling me that they will be by me shorty. I told Peter that if he isn’t here by 1pm then I need to leave as I took the day off. He then said that he will definitely be by me at 1pm. Then at 1pm he tells me he will be by me at 1:30pm. I then asked him to come the coming Monday as I wasn’t as home the weekend. To this he said that he can only do the job on Friday the following week. I then asked him for a refund of my deposit and he said no. Please don’t waste your time on this pathetic company as they are all talk and u get what you pay for. I am reporting them to the consumer protection tribunal.

I took out a building bond with Investec last year and signed many legal documents with them as part of the loan agreement. The builder signed a waiver of builders lien that Investec required however Richard from Investec claims that this is not a contract between the builder and Investec to which i disagree. Richard and a Quantity Surveyor came to the building site and I showed them many issues on site to which the QS then said that maybe they should send a letter to the builder stating that they know of the issues and that if the builder doesnt start to comply with the requirements as set out in the lien, then Investec will not be paying out any money. I asked them on site subsequently to please send a letter to the builder to make sure he understands the legality of the lien and to reiterate the lien, which was my only request.

I emailed and called Richard from Investec many times to ask about the letter that his QS said that they will send to the builder and his response was that they are either busy wording it correctly or that its a generic letter covering all their clients in the same development. I even asked what will be said in the letter, to which Richard said that it will be a generic letter stating that Investec has heard of the workmanship issues and they will "pull the plug" should the builder not comply with his responsibilities. This back and forth communication lasted just under two months.

After Richard from Investec deliberately ignored my emails, I called client care and they advised him to call me back to which he did and lies and says that he never mentioned that he would send a letter to the builder. I have it in writing asking him about the status of the letter to the builder and he always ignored that part of the email. So if he never planned on sending a letter initially then why not just say so initially instead of lying. I also told him that I will be closing my account with Investec and the reply I received was "no problem, just send me an email stating that".

My advice to Investec clients is to never take out a building loan from them as they are completely useless when it comes to their own policy and they never give their clients any support whatsoever during building a home. It feels like they support the builder instead of their own client. I have colleagues who say the very same thing about Investec with regards to building loans and this is a so called private bank. Whats amazing is that Investec approached me to bank with them and not the other way around. I will not be a client of theirs for much longer.

I received a quotation in writing from Ken at Memory Lane Fireplaces for a Morso 7948 fireplace at a cost of R34595 on the 20th of August 2016 and the quote is valid for 7 working days. I went in today the 26th of August 2016 to make payment and the receptionist tells me the price is R40000 and Ken says that the quote is wrong. Just goes to show that nowadays even when something is in writing, it's not even worth anything. So I guess if they have any guarantees then it will also be a waste of time honoring it. Rather go to a reliable company like Premier Fireplaces which is the Morso agent.

Good day, I went to Legalwise Randburg Branch on the 19th of December 2014
to sort out a matter between my insurance company and myself. To this date
which is approximately three months later, nobody from Legalwise has helped
me. I have been with the company for over 7 years and this is the first time
than I have needed help yet nobody seems bothered with my matter. If this is
the kind of service that Legalwise are offering then I rather cancel my
contract and hire a private attorney to sort out my matter with my insurance
company and also to get a refund for all the months that I have paid with no
service. Legalwise seems to be just scamming the South African public with
promises and false advertising. My next step is to approach the Consumer
Protection agency to deal with this matter because it really is pathetic to
say the least.
