I bought a brand new Blackview BV5800 Pro from Erika who is operating as Rugged-Phones. After only one day I had problems with double vision on the screen. I took it back to her and her first response was that I either dropped the phone or submerged it in water, taking in account that this is a rugged phone designed for these conditions. Long story short she said she will see if she has another screen that she can fit there, remember this is a brand new phone and without any damage to the screen at all. I called her later on that day and asked if she has found a screen but did not received a friendly reply to this at all. I told her she must either replace or refund to which she said I can take her to court but she would not gave my money back. I went and fetched the phone later that same day from her and took it to Blackview SA in Centurion. They replaced the screen but that was not the problem, it was either software or internals on the phone, the technician struggled for more than 3 hours to get it sorted without any luck, they then phoned her and gave her the results upon which she said I must bring the phone back and she will replace it, not giving me the option of a refund. I was told that this is grey products that she is importing herself and she is not a reseller of Blackview at all. The next day when I went to swop out the faulty phone, I was told that I am a liar because I broke the phone , how can a new phone go faulty after just one day(probably because it is a cheap knock off)and that Blackview SA have now completely destroyed that phone, after I sat for more than 3 hours at their offices and the technician tried everything to get the phone up and running again. Very rudely she gave me a replacement and not even in the specific colour that I originally bought from her. So I hope that this 2nd phone will not give me any trouble as I assume any further communication with her will not happen. Upon asking her what about the guarantee she replied what guarantee? But on her website she proclaim a one year warranty and a service repair division in Centurion that does not exist. Please anybody out there looking to buy a Blackview phone or any product that she is advertising be warned!~! She will scam you out of your hard earned money and is hard to get to as she lives in Zambesi Country Estate with access control.
bought so called new 150AH deep cycle gel battery for solar unit from them, noticed when I connected the battery that it has been used before(connection leads markings burned in by the sun and scratched all round, when I returned the battery they could not supply a replacement unit but was also unwilling to refund my money. When you phone the owner- Peter he doesn't answer his phone. They tell you that there is a 2 year Guarantee but this is not written on their hand written invoices but in any case means nothing as they are not willing to help in any way after they have taken your money, by the way they only take cash.
