Purchase the top of the range phone with a FLIR camera (one of 6 phones I'v purchased from them over the last few years for my business). After a year it was inoperable, so I took it in for repair. After a month of "waiting for parts" I collected what I thought was my expensively repaired phone, but turned out to be an different versions of the phone without the FLIR camera. Four months later and I still have no answer from Rugged as to how this will be resolved.

Device Bought 21/04/2020 cash - No Longer the property of Rugged SA 09/11/2020 repair booked My husband's phone just threw a black screen so we took the phone back it was still under warranty they booked the phone in and let me know they are going to fix it under warranty my husband then went to the store to explain to them he can not do without a phone because he works with his phone they then have a loan for him phone given because they could not for his wane his phone was going to be complaining, the last week in december my husband got very hurt at work fell from scaffolding because he had a blackout little did we know it was going to change our life's forever the borrowed phone had been in his pocket and then cracked the screen last week when i called to hear how far they are with my husband's phone when they told me the phone was repaired on the 3rd dec already i had did not receive such an email it went to my spam box when I talked to the lady I told her what happened and I also told her that the borrowed phone cracked She Adviced she will call me back called me back and said hey will treat the device like a repair that is 100% correct not once did i say i pay for it I told her over the phone I did not have the money now my husband had been in hospital for 2 weeks and we had to buy him an oxygen machine last week which he now has to permanently be and believe me for a man of 30 one does not want to hear such things I told the woman I will come in on Saturday the 6th i got there I gave her device in the box will all accessories she came back with the sim card gave to me and then told me that it will be all for now then I asked her if I could please get the other phone then she refused to to give me our R4000 phone and it wants to compare with 1400 phone it does not make sense at all I explained to her our situation she blatantly refused and said that they did us a favor to fix his phone Well that's a lie because it was and still is under warranty) At this point of time I asked her I am looking for the contract that my husband signed for the loan phone and they could not give any evidence so my question is how do they give a client a loan phone without him signing something so technical and i'm sure that that alone already is no leg on to steel a cash paying customers device my husband did not sign to take responsibility then all damages were voided and then she came to lie to me and said they do not get the copy at this point I told her but there is not going to be one because there was nothing signed they refused to give me my phone unless I pay 1400 I do not have that kind of money I have 4 children my husband's hours are cut how should I make because if I do not have money I can certainly not **** it out, then ask a dark-headed woman who really tried to make everything better told me the management said I should put down a 700 deposit then I told them I did not have that class of money I had 40 in the bank i was advice well go home and think of a way forward. i Tried contacting the CEO Jacques Els and o boy doesn't even have the guts to answer a person so he probably thinks he is better than everyone else well CEO's of Rugged let me advice you nothing in this world makes you a better person then ME For your Staff to treat me like that in front of my 5 year old i will be ashamed and i will never ever recommend anyone to buy from you guys ever you Stole a phone and took the loan phone so know you have your phone back and stole a customers phone and how to you clarify this behavior if your staff thinks it's ok to treat people that supports your company like this then i suggest you seriously start looking and getting your staff trained on people skills. I purchased a BV6000S Blackview IP68 Rugged phone from Rugged SA (Charlene) in October 2018 and could hardly use it. Firstly, when I opened the back over to insert my sim card the ***** broke of in the socket. Then it would not charge, so I send it back and had to pay for a new charger and replacement of the charger port on the phone, the ***** was not fixed when I got it back. This time I could not make any outgoing calls and when I do receive a call I could not hear the person on the other side, so I send it back again. Got it back 1 month later with the report that it was working 100%. The ***** was still not fixed and it is STILL NOT WORKING. When I attempt to make a call I receive the Error Message "Mobile Network Error", where my other phone, a Sony Xperia, with the same sim card inserted, has a 100% reception! I do not get any service from these people and am going to send it back to them for a refund, as they had 2 (two) chances to fix the problem, which did not!

I bought a brand new Blackview BV5800 Pro from Erika who is operating as Rugged-Phones. After only one day I had problems with double vision on the screen. I took it back to her and her first response was that I either dropped the phone or submerged it in water, taking in account that this is a rugged phone designed for these conditions. Long story short she said she will see if she has another screen that she can fit there, remember this is a brand new phone and without any damage to the screen at all. I called her later on that day and asked if she has found a screen but did not received a friendly reply to this at all. I told her she must either replace or refund to which she said I can take her to court but she would not gave my money back. I went and fetched the phone later that same day from her and took it to Blackview SA in Centurion. They replaced the screen but that was not the problem, it was either software or internals on the phone, the technician struggled for more than 3 hours to get it sorted without any luck, they then phoned her and gave her the results upon which she said I must bring the phone back and she will replace it, not giving me the option of a refund. I was told that this is grey products that she is importing herself and she is not a reseller of Blackview at all. The next day when I went to swop out the faulty phone, I was told that I am a liar because I broke the phone , how can a new phone go faulty after just one day(probably because it is a cheap knock off)and that Blackview SA have now completely destroyed that phone, after I sat for more than 3 hours at their offices and the technician tried everything to get the phone up and running again. Very rudely she gave me a replacement and not even in the specific colour that I originally bought from her. So I hope that this 2nd phone will not give me any trouble as I assume any further communication with her will not happen. Upon asking her what about the guarantee she replied what guarantee? But on her website she proclaim a one year warranty and a service repair division in Centurion that does not exist. Please anybody out there looking to buy a Blackview phone or any product that she is advertising be warned!~! She will scam you out of your hard earned money and is hard to get to as she lives in Zambesi Country Estate with access control.

As per your FAKE advertising videos regarding durability and toughness regarding the AGM A8 that can withstand the worst of the worst conditions how come i dropped my AGM A8 not even 50cm from the tile floor and the front glass is broken BUT YOUR VIDEOS PROVE OTHERWISE???? Rugged as does not carry a warranty on their products. I bought a rugged Black view bcc 9000 pro ultra rugged phone and was testing it out when the rugged phone failed. I had the phone for 3 days now rugged S.A. wants me to pay R4300 TO repair my phone.

I bought the Jesy J9S from you, the phone is freezing or overheats and worst of all its not IP69 rated like you brag on your ad or website, even the box says IP68, I bought the phone specifically for the IP 69 rating and I really feel like I have been given a raw deal, you blocked me on your Facebook and I cannot comment anymore. I see that's how you guys work

They Sell phones that dont live up to the standards, they cut out or they overheat, and they reboot for no reason. They dont respond to messages or queries. I have bought 2 phones from them and both started with problems since day one, and when I called in to ask whats wrong, I was told that I need to send in the phone at my cost and sit without a device for a week, a whole week and my cost!!!! its still under warranty, they are supposed to collect it and have it repaired or exchanged. They have really bad after sales service and care in SA, please people stay away from them, I hope you all can learn from my mistakes, oh and when they say a phone is IP69 certified, its not they are talking a load of ****.
