Dear Customer Service Team, I trust this message finds you well. I am writing to convey my profound disappointment with the after-sales service I have received from your company, despite the 5-year warranty policy that significantly influenced my decision to choose Geberit products. Recently, I encountered a valve malfunction and promptly contacted your team to report the issue. I was instructed to email the necessary documents, which I duly did. However, I was subsequently informed that the documents would only be accepted in PDF format, necessitating a conversion. After complying with this request and resending the documents in the appropriate format, I received an email stating that the washer is considered a wear and tear item and is not covered under the warranty. The reasons provided included possible negligence, poor water quality, water surges, and the absence of an inline strainer. This series of events has been both frustrating and disheartening. It is exceedingly disappointing to encounter such obstacles when attempting to utilize a warranty that was a major factor in my purchasing decision. For the record, the unit was purchased this year and is well within the warranty period and consumer protection guarantees. I am seeking further clarification on this matter and would greatly appreciate your prompt attention to this issue. I hope we can arrive at a more satisfactory resolution.

I have had a geberit toilet for yhe past 2 years and have had endless problems with the flusher The flusher accessories are made out of plastic and keep breaking To find the parts are very difficult Now my rod in yhe flusher broke and I can't find it anywhere This is pathetic as geberit is so expensive but the quality is horrible

I tried to get Service for our Geberit Toilets. The number directs one to leave a message. I have done this TWICE over the last +/-3 weeks , leaving details of fault and contact particulars with no reply at all. There used to be a personal service and I am surprised that this international company has such poor response,

Poor quality products and even poorer service. Bought their system based on a recommendation and reputation, but they flusher continues to to be troublesome. Waiting from July for them to send out someone to repair. The last repair before that, did not work, the company they sent out to do it wasn't upto scratch either

Awesome service and a pleasure to work with. I did not have documents of purchase for the cistern which I acquired from via me purchasing a house. This was not an issue and the guarantee was houroued and repairs done promptly and efficiently. Really appreciate my dealings with Geberit. Your company and staff has impressed me immensely. Thank you very much.

I recently purchased 2 Geberit toilets and had a problem with one and I called the Durban branch but was treated rudely by Collette. But I then spoke to a manager by the name of Debbie and she was so customer orientated she saw that I was frustrated and urgently assisted me she sent a technician by the name of Donovan to my house he was very polite and very helpful, there was a technician by the name of Jaques who contacted me as he got my details from Colette who was also rude and stated first some first serve I am so glad I went through to Debbie and Donavan both of them are stars... Wish the rest of Geberit Durban could follow these two individuals...

I recently had a problem with my flush system, the overflow valve wouldn't stop running after one flushed it. After placing a service call, a service agent drove through to my farm which was at least a 2-hour drive from Pretoria to asses the issue causing the flush system. Upon inspection, it was found that the overflow valve was faulty and it had to be replaced. As the service agent didn't have this part, he then decided to drive to Rustenburg when he was able to get a replacement from one of his dealerships and then returned to install the new part which solved the problem. I asked if there was a fee for this service to which he said it was part of the service Geberit provides - so no cost involved which was great! A big thank you to Ernst Gottschalk for his assistance!
