My car was bough in 2013 (five years old), I've kept her up to date with all her services, only to find out a short while ago that Geely is no longer in South Africa, and that should your car need a part and it's not available in Johannesburg it needs to come from overseas and the wait can be up to three months!
So now my work get's affected because I'm without a car to get to work and back and the same goes for getting my child to school and back! I am a single Mother who relies on no one but herself and when something like this happens, Geely can't even give me a car to drive for inconvenience cause, and thus I have to rely on lifts to work and help getting my son to school!
End of March I had to order a new radiator, paid on the same day the quotation was sent to me and when I followed up with a call today, 5 April 2018, I was told the part was not ordered because they have not received proof of payment.
So thus I'm without my car a third week due to a lack of bookkeeping s****s and lack of communication within departments, when payment was made the same day I put the order in!!
Then to top that, my car no longer has book value!! Now how am I suppose to sell my car or even get a good trade in amount?? Best offer I can get is R40 000. Disgusting when car cost R109 000.00 paid in cash! What can I buy for R40 000?? and I do not do second hand cars.
Because geely is no longer in SA am not forced to sell and get another car!!! As a single mother I can't afford a second hand car, not to even mentioned a new car!!
I want to be compensated for inconvenience cause and expect Geely to make me an affordable offer for a car that no longer has book value in South Africa.
I do not stand for poor service or lack of communication!! I have put up with much... the fact that I might have had to wait for a mud flap for three months if Johannesburg did not have stock is ridiculous!!
I am not impressed!!
