Sonya is the owner who "doesn't deal with the birds " but was happy to pick out ,sell and take the money. the money paid was a premium as expected from fully vaccinated birds .her ongoing responses were/are unapologetic and belligerent. apparently this Frikkie deals with the birds who is unavailable yet also sonyas husband .the guy fails to contact us using sonya as the "spokesman " giving us all sorts of reasons why he cant contact us and deal with "his birds " .according to sonya they dont plan /wont refund but will replace with more sick birds .its been noted by my vet the birds possibly could have avian flu .we going to, further make enquiries with the authorities on this as to investigate if their birds carry avian flu or and other hen sicknesses ,but further tests need to be conducted which i have now booked to do to further investigate at my expense since the birds should not be ill due to the alleged "vaccinations ".its clear by the woman's tone of emails and messages they refuse TO refund and smirked and laughed that livestock doesnt fall under the CPA on returns and will not refund . its clear they arnt honest nor accepting of their responsibilities, and evasive to conduct ethical business nor have concerns in handing over sick animals .we paid premium for the pullet layers (10 week old )at R260 per bird and WERE TOLD that the birds are full vaccinated and at that price per bird one can expect that the premium price would be expected on a full vaccinated bird . its well over 1.5 hours drive one way to waste time only to drop these infected birds off ,with no confirmed response. the farm where these birds are kept appears somewhat cramped also ,lots of of dogs in cages on this property which doesn't look healthy nor look like prescribed safe and healthy animal keeping ..
