Gener-8ing false stories!!!

Please assist, we bought a BP10S-G - 10KVa LPG/NG Gas Generator on the 19th May 2023. The generator took about a month to get installed. When installation day came (15 June 2023), it was installed at a wrong place, it worked for approximately 45 minutes and stopped ever since. We then went to their offices after arguments on the phone with them as we wanted it to be uninstalled and to get our money back. We were given the run around after stating our case with the sales person. Today (23 June 2023), they sent us a letter from the lawyers threatening to take us to court. The machine is still under warranty and has not operated since. It is installed outside the house, which makes it unsafe for theft, it is loud and it was advertised as a "silent generator. We are on our 8th day of 14 of their return/refund policy. I sent them an email which I think it is the reason why they want to take us to court now. Please assist.
