Bad Estate Management
This property management company doesn’t take residents serious. Poor mismanagement of funds, they reduced hours for securities, which they only work night shifts. The estate has been without electricity for three days now and it’s not the first time this issue happens.
While we don’t have electricity and day shift security, the gate motor is not backed up, this is imposing danger and safety to the residents.
Also the caretaker is there on the communication what’s app however he’s not updating us on when will electricity be back or what measures are they taking to resolve this.

With regards to your review, please see comments below:
Currently, there are numerous streets in Rynfield that have been without power for a few days now. This is a fault in your area and not something we, as managing agents, have any control over at all.
On the balance of your review, managing agents are employed by body corporates to complete certain administrative functions as instructed by the trustees. We do not have any executive power or capacity to make decisions on their behalf.
A general meeting was held at our premises with all owners who chose to attend in July where the Ekurhuleni account was discussed in detail including the problems with the prepaid meters and gas collections from a third party. We do not work for Ekurhuleni so have no control over the amounts they load onto your account, especially the excessive back payment that they loaded in June this year, however we have spent many hours and many visits to their offices to try and assist. The outcome of an under recovery remains the same.
The trustees made the decision to cut the daytime security in consultation with majority owners, in order to bring down the special levy that was implemented to assist with replenishing complex funds. It is not a decision that George Rennie has capacity to make.
As a friendly reminder, owners, at their AGMs, decide on what the levies should be, who the trustees should be and what the powers are that should be given to the trustees. Managing agents work on instruction from those trustees and so we simply cannot make decisions regarding the funds of the complex. What we in fact did do, was to give the complex a loan in order to pay your municipal account which I am not aware, any other managing agent would do.
We would like to suggest that prior to posting future reviews based on incorrect facts, consult either with your trustees or with us, we are always available to our clients for assistance.
