I placed an order with Geoty Resources for a Sunsynk Sun 8 kW Hybrid Inverter together with two lithium batteries on 07 April 2022. I effected full payment on the same date and have never received the equipment ordered. Initially, non-delivery was blamed on the floods in KZN (place of delivery) and subsequently, the supplier in Cape Town was blamed as well. Numerous telephonic calls and messages were ignored and finally, I visited their premises in Pretoria East where the Landlord advised they had vacated the premises due to non-payment of rental. According to the Landlord, I was just one of many unhappy customers who attempted to confront this company at their stated address. It is infuriating that companies such as this are able to take your money and vanish without a trace. Do not order online from companies without first visiting their premises to ensure both they and their products actually exist.
