Overcharge for services delivered, non-stop invoicing, advice not enough/wrong advice, no representation
After realising I'm just wasting my money, the advice I was given was not sufficient or barely minimum, I went to 2 other lawyers for a 2nd opinion. Based in their pricing, they charged half of what I already paid to Gerrie Ebersohn attorneys (including represention). When Gerrie Ebersohn came with email for more payment, I wrote a lengthy letter they won't get another cent out of me, stated why. Today I've found out they reported me to TPN for the R 2300 they wanted from me. I would gladly have paid if they didn't double charge me and gave me better assistance (by assistance I don't mean not try and see how much they can milk me money wise).

01 Mar 2025, 19:00All the advice I was given would've been ok if I was dealing with ethical HR employees. Since the lawyer knew from the start I was dealing with ********* HR employees, his advice was of no help. Got the feeling he was too busy attending to other cases, so just stalling (delay taking action) where it comes to my case (should've rather told me to get another lawyer than waste my time).
