<p>I ordered and paid for a high-end sound system from this internet business. They promised delivery two to five days after receiving the proof of payment. Almost a week later I still hadn't received my (very expensive) system! I contacted them to find out why, they told me my payment hadn't gone through into their bank account. I contacted my bank and was made to jump through hoops to get anything done.</p> <p>Eventually another week passed without me getting my system I had paid for almost two weeks earlier. I kept contacting my bank, spending a fortune on phone calls to try and ascertain why the money hadn't been paid into this company's bank account. My bank traced the payment and told me the funds had cleared the same day I had done the EFT. Turns out it was the incompetent idiots at Getadeal who were so useless they couldn't see the money was in their account all along. After all this aggravation and stress and phoning my bank and being given the runaround for weeks, they were the ones who had messed up! How incompetent do you have to be not to be able to read a bank statement and see my payment? I also had sent the proof-of-payment so they had NO excuse. And I STILL don't have my sound system!</p> <p>Let this be a warning to everyone thinking to do business with this useless company! Do NOT buy anything from getadeal.co.za!</p>
Well, after all that I finally received my sound system! When they realised what a mess they had made of my order they were very apologetic and shipped my system express overnight delivery. Great, thank you! As a gesture of goodwill they also sent two pairs of very nice earphones for my partner and I. Well done and kudos for that
