Bought my car on the 21st of August 2025, was happy till I had a type problem, phoned them and was advised that my tyres had a plan got the number and they told to take the car at any tyre place and they should phone them indeed took it to Supa quick they took tyres out the one had a lump that I had a problem it was replaced whilst checking others they realized that the one giving a problem is the not the one with a lump instead there was another one with the cuts inside and you can't tell by mere looking at it and was told they are not gonna replace it as it was worn out due to driving called the dealer cause I had the car for 23 days and there is no way I worn that tyre out and the dealer told me they are not going to replace because my car was taken to roadworthy test and before buying I did ask to take to roadworthy and was told I had to pay few thousands for it, ****** angry because I paid a deposit and needed to replace a type again.

I bought a car from GI Motors after being assured it was in good condition. Unfortunately, that was not the case. It turned out that several components of the car — including sensors and airbags — had been disconnected in such a way that a standard diagnostics machine could not detect the issues. It’s clear they know exactly what they’re doing, and I can say from experience that they are not to be trusted. If you ever consider buying a car from them, take your time to inspect the vehicle thoroughly and have it checked with an advanced diagnostic tool. Once you make the payment, there’s no going back.

If you value your hard earned money, please don’t bother to buy a car at GI Motors. Prior to buying the car the salespeople are so good because they want your money. After closing the deal and having the car, then you will realise or start to notice the defects of the vehicle within a week. When you call to complain about the car, they will send you from pillar to post to resolve the problem. Basically, most of their cars have defects. My advice get the defect report from them before buying their car. I regret doing business with them.

I had the unfortunate experience of having to have car bought at GI Motors. I saw the car through Cars.co.za and I asked a friend of mine who is in JHB to go view the vehicle. Car didn't arrive and no communication from the sales consultant I dealt with being Loyiso Mgidi. This is very unfortunate as I condone supporting any form of business that brings money to the table and also helps any livelihoods in this dire economy. I am not happy at all and having to ask someone to drive from Douglasdale to Arcadia is no joke, worse to a no show care event.
