I am appauled by the pathetic service from this Car sales place called the Glen auto City. They have sold us a car that is deemed a writeoff and still had the audacity to over charge me for a piece of Sh&%$ in my eyes. The owner Tariq Hunjra has made empty promises and my husband and I have been complaining about major issues that is wrong with the Hyundai I20 sold to us by this dealership. We have been driving the car in question for the past 6 months with bolts and nuts missing on the tire! Hyundai manufacturers have deemed this car a complete write off! I have wasted time and endless trips to the dealership whilst leaving empty handed and unsatisfied. I will never ever recommend anyone to buy a vehicle at the Glen Auto City. They thrive on people who are desperate for transportation.

Glen Auto City Pty Ltd was fully aware of the faulty air conditioning unit before the vehicle was sold and delivered on 13 January 2017 to my parents and entered into an verbal agreement on 9 January 2017 to repair the vehicle’s air conditioning unit as this was Glen Auto City’s responsibility. Glen Auto City attempted to repair the condenser but on 16 January 2017 the aircon was found to be faulty again. Glen Auto City was informed immediately and Glen Auto City agreed that the vehicle can be inspected by a third partysituated in Pretoria and that Glen Auto City will pay for the costs. 26 January 2017 the third party inspected the vehicle and found that the condenser was faulty and must be replaced. The condensor was found to be repaired with putty. Glen Auto City then agreed to find and purchase the required part. Around 17 March 2017 Glen Auto City indicatedthat they managed to aqcuire the part and when I wanted toarrange delivery Glen Auto City then admitted they actually did not manage to aquire it. Glen Auto City then agreed that by 24 March 2017 if Glen Auto City still have not acquired the part, then the part can be purchased from Suzuki Menlyn in Pretoria. 24 March 2017 Glen Auto City still have not managed to find and purchase the part. 29 March 2017 quotations were provided to Glen Auto City to the amount of R9024.15, R7599.15 payable to Suzuki for the part and R1425 payable to the third party for the labour. 3 April 2017 Glen Auto City indicated that payment will be made to Suzuki and the third arty the same day. Needless to say no payment was made.4 April 2017 Glen Auto City indicated that they have no funds and were unable to make the payments. Since my parents wanted to go on holiday 8 April 2017 we then agreed that I will purchase the part from Suzuki Menlyn and pay for the installation and that Glen Auto City will refund me the costs of R7599.15 for the part and R1425 for the installation of the part. Banking details were provided to Glen Auto City to pay into my account the total amount of R9024.15. Since 4 April 2017 I contacted Glen Auto City on various occasions without any response. 13 March 2017 Glen Auto City indicated that the money owned to me will be paid on Tuesday 18 April 2017. It is now 26 April 2017 and Glen Auto City still have not made the payment of R9024.15 into my bank account.
