No contact numbers actually go through, been waiting 3 months for paid item, eta changes by a month everytime you manage to get an email through. Starting legal action and tracing owners to have them dealt with directly.

I ordered a Cell Phone (Samsung A71) from Global Gadgets for R6799.00. I transferred the money. I then got a call from Global-Gadgets during which I was told that they only have 1 unit of the phone left (upon reflection I'm assuming this was a store demo model), and that if I wanted another colour I would have to wait a few days for their new stock to arrive. I opted to take his remaining unit believing it was new as advertised. 2 days later the cellphone arrives via courier. Upon inspection I noticed that the Original Samsung safety seal had been broken and was covered with a Global-Gadgets seal. I immediately emailed Global-Gadgets to ask why the seal was broken. This is their response: "Good afternoon sir The reason is because i import these phones so i have to make sure everything is in the box i do a quality check on the phones. i Assure that these phones are all brand new sir" I took his word as truth and opened the box. Inside there was a phone that had clearly been used. The plastic wrapping that comes with a new phone was mangled dirty and dusty, and was folded loosely around the phone. Not affixed tightly as a new phone should. Part of the packaging inside was torn and there was an accessories missing. An A71 comes with a clear silicon cover. This was missing. The phone itself switched on and went straight to a boot/recovery sequence, which is conclusive evidence that its used. I immediately contacted Global Gadgets: "Good Day, I can't accept this device. There are even accessories missing. The phone is out of it's plastic, the charger isn't wrapped as usual and the free silicon case that comes with A71's is missing. I paid for a new sealed one. Kindly send a new one next week, this one will be returned." They have yet to respond. Message to the public. Please buy form the more reputable online stores such as Takealot. Global-Gadgets price are lower, but you're not getting new merchandise. Its a SCAM! I will be escalating with the Ombudsman.
