Pathetic Government Service

In 2019 i applied for a birth certificate amendments to be done at the home affairs office in Pretoria Central . 3 years later and the amendments are still not yet done , how long does it take for a surname to be changed?

I have been following up ever since and still no valuable feedback has been given , all they can tell me is that the matter has been escalated.

Unfortunately we live in a country where our government officials sit around doing nothing while getting paid with all our hard sweat and tax money . Im pretty sure i would have gotten the amendments done if i slipped money under the desk .

This country is ridiculous
