The rentals admin department has repeatedly sent me the incorrect rental amount to pay. As of recently they are now also not sending the utilities breakdown. I have addressed this with Waleed, Anthea and the Branch manager Glenda and my emails have gone unanswered. On the first occasion I paid the incorrect amount as per there email and was blasted by them for doing so. On the last occasion (this previous month, I received yet again an incorrect amount and I requested the correct amount via email. This was not sent. A week later I again requested the amount and I did not receive it, but received an sms and an email from their debit collectors as well as a final red notice from the accounts department with the amount that needed to be paid. I called them and complained about being sent to collections after I had repeatedly asked them for the invoice and was ignored. I then paid the invoice a week overdue, and the next day was sent an email from the collections department informing me that the rent was paid late and would be marked down as such.

I was helped by Greeff Properties to find a rental in Bettiesbaai in January 2023. I signed a contract in which was stated that the deposit will be invested by Greeff and the return on the investment will be paid out on termination of the contract. I terminated my contract on the 1st.of.November and.moved out on the 30th. After 7 days I made an enquiry about the payment of.the deposit. After.3 days I have still not received any feedback. I made another enquiry and was told I did not pay the deposit and.have to go back.to.my statements.to prove that it was.paid and to whom. I refused unless they were willing to cover the bank cost. After 2 day I received a message that stated that the money has been released and will pay out by the Monday. Monday, Tuesday came NOTHING!! Once again I enquiry and was then told the deposit was paid over to the owner and he is responsible for paying it back. The owner contacted me and confirmed that.this is the case. He was never.informed that the money was paid into their account. The deposit WITHOUT THE INTEREST was paid over. So who is responsible for this very unprofessional service, lack of control and who is enjoying Cristmas with my interests???? Agents are so quick to pull out the contract and rub your nose in what you are doing wrong, so why include a clause of deposit invested with interest if they do not plan to stick to the contract.

Dear Principle I would like to express our gratitude and thanks to Lindsay Goodman of Greeff, Hout Bay. Lindsay was our agent for both the sale of our previous property and the purchase of our new home, Lindsay's dedication to what she does and to your company and the Greeff brand is nothing short of outstanding. Lindsay went over and beyond what we could ever have expected from an agent. Lindsay was diligent in every step of the process and would make contact with us and give us answers AND solutions before we even could pick up the phone to call her. We honestly were made to feel important to her as clients and how she managed to prioritize us and each and every issue of ours while still having other clients is really a testament to how hard she works and no matter what time of the day, Lindsay was there for us! Lindsay also went so far as to act as a liaison between us and the lawyers on both transacting deals and even once both sales were concluded and monies paid out, Lindsay did not one falter. As expected, there were small home issues on both sides of the sale and purchase and Lindsay was still there to help us through it all. I cannot recommend a more professional, caring and dedicated agent and I will be recommending her and Greeff at any given chance. Thank you so much to Lindsay and to Greeff, as the saying goes, buying and selling is one of the most stressful life events that one can go through, but with Lindsay and Greeff managing this for us, we felt like we were in the best hands. We would also like to give a thanks to Lindsay's assistant Lucille, thank you for keeping us informed with your emails and contact through the process, it was also on point and extremely professional. With our huge thanks and gratitude Debby and Steve Meinhold

I have never worked with such a helpful, kind, goes out of her way agent in my life! Thank you Carryn from the Constantia Rental division. Not only did she find my dream home, but she has gone out of her way to help me with every little thing, from numbers for gardeners or security to giving me advice to buy items etc. So kind and so unbelievable!!

I wrote this about the company that was birthed out of Greeff. Honestly, they share equal blame. So, here's my basic story. Quay Properties was not the company we initially selected to sell the house. It was Greeff. So, when we were informed that this had changed, the wife and I were rather shocked. Concerned about where our money was. After all, we were paying for the brand name. Then there's the fact that when given the opportunity to write the date for occupancy, they got it wrong, and we had to move out a month early. Then they referred us to a lawyer who was so bad at their job we had to hire another. They also neglected to tell the new owners about items we were taking with us, so we were slapped with a law suite. So, who owns this company, Greeff's son. Why did they do this cryptic rebranding? No idea? Other than the fact that this move must have made family occasion awkward - which would be great! But when it comes down to it. DON'T USE GREEFF AND QUAY PROPERTIES! As they are dishonest and just lie, and also not good at their job. I am no real estate agent, but after researching their role - these guys failed. Anyway, never use.
