RENTAL DEPOSIT WITHOLD AND BAD SERVICE

Ive been in a rental from Grosch from 1st December 2020 and signed a year contract. However, in Feb 21 i was told that the property that im renting is being sold and i must please allow people to view. The Electricity box in the house was also faulty and i used R3400 of electricity the first month. Then in Jan i was told that im getting a rebate for R1k. I found a new place and moved at the end of April and still didnt get my deposit of R21k back. I had an agreement with Grosch that my ex is paying half of my rent and they agreed, but now they maintain that they cannot find the pmnts. They are insisting that i give them proof of all his payments and he is refusing to give it to me because we are not on good terms. I've had serious problems with Grosch and a lot of stress and i got divorced in Sep 20. I would really appreciate it if you could intervene and assist with getting my deposit back.
