Group Buys SA is a *****! They take the money and never deliver!

Shop Group Buys (https://shop.groupbuys.co.za/) is a ***** and utter ****! Stay away from them!!! I purchased a Hisense 177L Single Door Fridge with Water Dispenser - Red × 1 on 13 December 2024 for R1750 (ZAR). It was for next day delivery.

ORDER Number: DS22775GH | Tracking Number: CNG00699549376562.

Their website and initial email correspondence looks very legitimate. I had to pay via EFT and send the proof of payment (I have a copy of this). I sent them the proof of payment and they said the fridge will be dispatched. It never arrived. They don’t respond to emails or answer calls. I have email correspondence and paperwork for the proof of payment. I looked at review sites including Hello Peter and more after the purchase, and realised it’s common for them to make people pay and not deliver.

The website https://shop.groupbuys.co.za/ is now down and not working.

They sent emails from store+67888185508@t.shopifyemail.com and ask you respond to info@groupbuys.co.za (which bounces and they don’t respond to).
