We are travelling the US Booked accommodation, same night check I through Groupon at the Radisson Philidelphia. Groupon kept give g an error message, saying failing to process request. So I re-tried. About the 4 time it said " this Groupon deal expired" We were then forced to book alternate accommodation as it was getting late an we needed a place to sleep. We are on a road trip. We booked through Airbnb and found a lovely appartment, booked and paid. At 19:45 on the 13th May, the night we had to book in, a e-mail was sent to say that Groupon was unable to secure our booking, later we received a confirmation from Groupon saying that it is booked? I only saw this email on the 14th as I had no reason to check my emails after that, plus we already checked in elsewhere due to no response/ error response and inability to secure booking from Groupon. At noon the following day Groupon deducted the full amount from my credit card, without authorization, the never confirmed if this request is still valid. We phoned the Radisson Philidelphia, who told us to sort it out with Groupon. Groupon, after eventually finding a means to contact them, as there is no phone number nor e-mail adres on their website or app. ( finding a live chat facility) the guy just keep saying " no refunds" We spoke to Max and Amanda afterwards, Cris sent an email saying the cancellation date exited on the 12th of May???? We only booked the 13th!!! Hello, same day check-in, 2 hours after trying to book a respond was sent with "unable to secure booking" Am I suppose to sleep on the street on til they decide it is a good time to confirm, and without notice or verification, nor any contact number, person or e-mail adres deduct $208 from my credit card +-R2500 and then then refuse to refund although it was their error?
Be careful all users, they pocket money unlawfully without any consequence to them it seems
