We have a Grundig fridge, serviced by Defy. We contacted Grundig on 3.12.2020. They passed us onto Defy who services their appliances. An inspection of our fridge was carried out on 07/12/2020. As we have a FIVE year warranty on this fridge we expected the fridge to be replaced. They maintain they will only repair the element which has rusted and caused all sorts of problems in our fridge including icing up and horrible rust marks internally. Since the 7th December 2020, we have been unable to contact the service manager at Defy, Lucas or his superior, Danny as they do not answer their phones and have no answering service available. We have been left totally in the dark with promises of return calls but this never happens. We now no longer have a fridge as it is not working. SHAME on you Defy/Grundig for the worst service ever. I have always been a very loyal supporter of DEFY appliances but would not recommend this company or ever buy a Defy appliance every again.
