I bought a Tank 300 2.4L Diesel from Centurion GWM. I stay in Hartbee****rtdam. GWM issued the temporary licence which expired 20.11.2025. I paid R3 500 for licensing registration and number plates, which the dealership promised to give me before expiry of the temporary license. I have not heard anything from them and then started following up a week before it expired. They still up to 19.11.2025 promised me to come to North West and register it. Now they told me on expiry day, they will no longer be registering my vehicle and that I need to sort it out myself and send them the receipts whereupon they will refund me afterwards. With the expired license disk, my car is not insured anymore. I need to take a day off work to register the vehicle myself. They only will refund me the money I paid and not the full R3 500 that I have paid. they are making money off out of this. They did not give me any natis or registration papers from their side. I need to figure out how to register this car on my own in a different province. This was the worst after service I have ever received from a car dealership on the purchase of a brand new vehicle. They take their commission and the rest is up to the client to sort out. Very very unhappy.

Typical sales people, very helpful and eager to do their best and make the client feel very comfortable. After delivery, when they received their money they absolutely do their best to keep you on a line, it took Marco more than a Month to give me answer, he had to talk to a Manager the manager had to talk to this person and that person to another person and it goes on like that for a whole month. Seems they don't know who is in charge there. When you think you are luck and got an answer out of them the next thing starts. They collect my car for 2 new tyres, 09:00 in the morning, I clearly told them I will be needing my car at 14:00 to fetch my kid from school. 15:00 I don't have my car yet or an answer how late I will get my car. But why should they care, they got the money already.

I was searching for upgrading my 2021 Ford Everest 2.0 Bi-Turbo LTD 4x4 A/T SUV for a latest year model but similar SUV 4x4 A/T in the second quarter of 2024. I visited many Dealerships in Gauteng as far as Vereeniging but when I walked in at GWM Centurion, Sales Representative, Me Masechaba Sape (a.k.a. "Chabi"), approach me when entering her domain with open arms, professionalism and such friendliness; I could not refuse her to chaperone me on my request. Chabi, is a slim and tender black salesperson with a lot of life burning in her eyes and charm to share within a man's world of automotives. I was a bit sceptical that she wants to assist me and not a salesman, but her kindness and eagerness let me to give her a change. So, quickly she got my attention and when I told her the reason for visiting, she quickly got me seated at her table and a hot cup of Capuchino while preparing their Demo 2024 GWM Tank 300 2.0T HEV 9HAT 4x4 S-Luxury for viewing and test driving. When the SUV 4x4 was ready, a salesman came and introduce me to the specs of the SUV 4x4 A/T and took me for a test drive in and around Centurion. On return Chabi came and fetch me, and we discussed the financial part. It is then when GWM New Sales Manager "Mr Riaan de Beer" walked in and we start talking specs, etc. Chabi tried to add her opinion, but the men talk overpowered her voice and "Riaan" introduced me directly to the GWM 2024 Tank 300 2.0T 8AT 4x4 S-Luxury and ordered a salesman to take me for a test drive as well. On return I concurred with "Riaan" that the latter GWM Tank 300 was nippier than the HEV but Chabi I could hear trying to say something and disagreed. To keep it short; Chabi provided me with Price Quotes on both SUV 4x4 A/T's without being disgruntled or show of discomfort or negativeness. A few days later she invited me for a second opinion whereby she will personally take me for a test drive and a discussion on the 2 x vehicles in question because she does not agree with her manager and/or other salesman. It is here where everything changed and caught my attention. Chabi showed me the driving mode they previously chosen was wrong on the HEV and then she run quickly by comparison through the specs as if it was just flowing from her mind. I was astonished by this tiny woman's accuracy, her knowledge of the vehicles she is selling and standing up for herself in a dominant men's world to prove her point in a humble way without belittling and/or bad mouth her colleagues. She was the star of the day and for sure an asset for the GWM SA. Notwithstanding only this aspect. I also would like to mention Mr Riaan de Beer's interaction, client support, respect, kindness and professional approach towards his clients as mentionable outstanding and therefore it comes to no surprise that his staff like Chabi will follow suite. Riaan, thank you for the support, window of opportunity for business and close cooperation. Your transparency, flexibility and business attitude are much respected, and I will most definitely visit you in future again. Chabi's code of conduct was impeccable and a true example to her colleagues. She supported me from there-on with professionalism, excellent knowledge, respect, love, patience and determination and I will not want anybody else than "Chabi" to help me in future if I visit GWM Centurion again. Chabi really placed GWM Centurion on the MAP of Dealerships with integrity where the client is first priority and always get the vest treatment and aftercare. Chabi deserves more than anybody else to be honoured as the Woman/Sales Representative of the Month/Woman's Month in GWM Centurion but also GWM SA. A HR asset who has a golden highway opportunity in her capable hands & conduct to climb the business ladder within the GWM SA Company. I SALUUT YOU, YOUNG LADY. Well Done!! Riaan, Thank you.
