I took my car to GWM Boksburg for a diagnostic. On the 23 January 2026, I was informed that there are parts they need to order. I paid a 50% deposit, and was informed that order takes about 5days. I have been trying to follow up on this job! When I picked up the car on 23 January 2026, I was assisted by Palesa at reception.I have spoken to Palesa a few times after that date.She always promises to give me an update.Today, 02 March 2026, I was put to parts, and held on forever.This is costing me money.Can someone tell me what the problem is here?

I took my car to GWM Boksburg for a diagnostic. On the 23 January 2026, I was informed that there are parts they need to order. I paid a 50% deposit, and was informed that order takes about 5days. I have received disappointing service from Haval Boksburg. 1st started with my waiting period the the morning drop off when I dropped the car for the service in the morning were I waited for 2hours to get a driver to drop me off home. Then the worst the car got serviced however when driving to work next morning the car got a warning sign that car engine heat temperature.. I called the dealer explained my story that I was there previous day to service the car & next morning on my way to work got a warning sign y. They said I was told that car needs to be fixed this and that. And they if they do they do the service it will be null and void without fixing x and Z. And I was told by the lady I called for them to fix it it will cost R5600 to round off R5700. I must ask my insurance to tow the car back to the dealership and they will fix it. They I advised my husband of the incident & he was like let’s call them again it’s impossible for us to take car to dealer for service and the could dictate the the fault and the car was absolutely fine before it went to the dealership. Service manager tried to solve the query he went to listen to the recording with the lady for previous day. Nothing was mentioned of severity of the issue. He still needs to go listen to the car for next day were I was told it will cost R5700. As he came back with a quote of R13000.. Now I need answers ASAP and I want this matter sorted with this R5700 I was given by the lady over the recorded line.

At just ~30,000km, our Haval’s engine completely failed and had to be replaced. At first, we were told it wasn’t covered under warranty because of a “missed service,” but after pushing back, they admitted it was under warranty. We were still charged over R20,000 — only refunded after a serious fight. This happened in January 2025. Now, in May, the car broke down again and had to be towed to the Edenvale branch. We are being told to pay out of pocket once more — and Boksburg refuses to take responsibility for what now appears to be a poorly done engine replacement. In the last few months, here’s what we’ve dealt with: Knocking noise every time the engine starts Oil stains on engine parts and surrounding areas Engine compartment was not cleaned after engine replacement Scuff marks on driver & passenger steps Radiator fluid leaking onto the gearbox Scratches on radiator cover — no protection used Broken radiator clips — clearly incorrect tools/procedures used Multiple clips missing in the engine compartment Fuel pipe clip damaged during engine replacement, eventually fell out and led to the breakdown And to top it off — the original service book disappeared while at their service center Haval Boksburg needs to be held accountable. This is unacceptable after a full engine replacement and supposed “repair.” We trusted the brand, but this experience has been a nightmare. @HavalSA — are you seriously okay with this level of service? #HavalSouthAfrica #HavalBoksburg #CarTrouble #ConsumerRights #PoorService #WarrantyNightmare

We received the worst possible experience. After being there for a while we were sent to a lady who opened Auto Trader for us, our sales rep kept disappearing and we left without any assistance. We went to Gwm Haval Benoni on the same day, and they made a sale with us on that very day.

My issue is with service providers Haval Boksburg and Renew-it Edenvale , my story is long, will try to make it short , my car was in an accident in December 2023, I involved the insurance immediately and they referred it to Renew-it Edenvale for repairs , repairs were done and I received the car back in February, the car had issues which I reported to Renew-it, in the same month that I received the car back it was due for service with Haval Bokburg , I took the car to them informed them to check for me if all damaged were attended, Haval came back with a quote of issues they picked up after service and said they are accident related therefore the panel beater musy take responsibility, I immediately informed the panel beater Renew-it about this , it was back and forth again about who should fix the car, March 22 the car started heating and it was towed to the dealership Haval, I informed the panel beater again ,,I had to lodge a formal complaint against the panel beater for them to collect the car from the Haval to their premises, the car was then collected and repairs done , on or about the 28th of April , Renew- it called to come collect the car and informed me that the other issues quoted were factory faults from Haval, I immediately went to Haval to inform them, that was on the 28th April, whilst I was there we opened the front of the car only to discover that the engine cover and water bottle was missing , Haval said when the car was with them they never opened it , the following day I sent an email to Renew-it about the missing parts , they have since provided pictures that the parts where there there , Haval on the other hand doesn't not take pics , between the two service providers non of them wants to take responsibility of replacing these parts , Im driving around in a Car with missing parts and dont know what further damages could this be causing to the car , it's been back and forth and now non of them is saying anything , I'm frustrated and this has caused a lot of stress for me , I want to those parts replaced and one of these service providers must do that , the car was in both their premises at some point , they can't now say they are both not responsible , PLEASE HELP ME

Yesterday I took my vehicle in for a service at Haval Boksburg. The service i received was beyond amazing. I would drive double the distance to visit your branch than visit any other branch closest to me. After being fully booked they made an exception for me and managed to squeeze me in even after being fully booked. Thank you so much for the wonderful service. Your branch should be used as an example.

Yesterday I took my vehicle in for a service at Haval Boksburg. The service i received was beyond amazing. I would drive double the distance to visit your branch than visit any other branch closest to me. After being fully booked they made an exception for me and managed to squeeze me in even after being fully booked. Thank you so much for the wonderful service. Chad Eekhout sold me a Haval Jolion sport model. Full marks to him regarding his professionalism and knowledge of the car. It was a total delight dealing with him and he is a credit to Haval Boksburg. His service was excellent and he negotiated a great price as well. I have no hesitation in recommending him as a top salesman and went out of my location to deal with him

I've recently purchased the H6 AWD. From the first phone call up to the last item to fit my number plates was a breeze and Hazzle free. Thanks to Monica Smerdon the Sales Rep there. I must say Haval Boksburg was the only Haval dealership that seemed interested to sell a car, I was at the Westgate , Northcliff as well as the Little falls dealerships, and none of them was really interested in selling a vehicle. Well done Haval Boksburg

I've recently purchased the H6 AWD. From the first phone call up to the last item to fit my number plates was a breeze and Hazzle free. Thanks to Monica Smerdon the Sales Rep there. I must say Haval Boksburg was the only Haval dealership that seemed interested to sell a car, I was at the Westgate , Northcliff as well as the Little falls dealerships, and none of them was really interested in selling a vehicle.
