Please beware of Coffee Machine Specialist in Midrand. Contact numbers 0814739780 or 0837703797. They give a warranty on repairs but my DeLonghi broke again within a week and now they ignore emails, whatsapp messages and do not take my calls. I am also taking this further with my attorney

Re: Customer Services of Gym Trading Specialist - Le Roux Ave, Halfway House, Midrand... I've been interested in a spinning bike and made a commitment to buy it. The owner told me they had to fix a couple of things fist. After a couple of weeks he started ignoring my calls and I received no response from their end. They don't answer my calls and don't answer my whatsapp messages either. It's now almost 2 months with no feedback. I'm disappointed in the service and commitment.

<p>On the 27th April 2016 I purchased a second hand "refurbished" Technogym treadmill from a company called Gym Trading Specialist and had it shipped from Johannesberg to Cape Town by Stuttafords Van Hire on the 9th May 2016.</p> <p> </p> <p>The treadmill was in an acceptable condition considering it was second hand but did not look like it was "refurbished". It had a cracked front cover with a "Gym Trading Specialist" sticker placed over the crack, a bend emergency button housing, worn and bent runners on either side of the main belt and none of the internal parts were bolted down or had any serial numbers. It also made an exceptionally loud noise when on and in standbye mode.</p> <p> </p> <p>I decided to have it inspected by an independent company, PentaSystems (they repair Technogym equipment) and they quoted me on R17,000.00 worth of repairs. </p> <p> </p> <p>When I consulted the owner of Gym Trading Specialist regarding the repair quotation and the state of the treadmill he denied responsibility and claimed that the damages must have been the fault of the transport company. </p> <p> </p> <p>The treadmill itself ceased to function completely on the 14th June 2016 at which point the owner of Gym Trading Specialist sent a local "trusted" technician to repair it. The technician couldn't figure out what was wrong so Gym Trading Specialist offered to replace the treadmill at their own cost and offered to compensate me for the inconvenience by offering me additional equipment. </p> <p> </p> <p>On the 21st June 2016 the treadmill was collected by Gym Trading Specialists own "trusted" transport and was delivered back to them on the 22nd June 2016.</p> <p> </p> <p>In my conversations with the owner of Gym Trading Specialist I requested a refund and he said that he had no funds available so I had the option of waiting 2 months for the refund or receiving a different tradmill. I opted to wait the two months and have yet to receive either my refund or the treadmill!</p> <p> </p> <p>I am still trying to resolve this issue but Gym Trading specialist do not answer my calls nor do they reply to messages or emails.</p> <p> </p>
