I moved out of Little Manhattan West Village in December 2024, and as of May 2025, I still have not received my deposit. This is absolutely unacceptable. Habitat Property Management — now rebranded as Instratin Realty — has shown a complete disregard for former tenants.
I’ve been repeatedly told that only one person, Ben, handles refunds. Not only is this poor business practice, but Ben has also proven to be unprofessional, unreliable, and entirely unaccountable. He does not answer calls, avoids responsibility, and responds only with excuse after excuse.
To make matters worse, emails to their enquiries department are met with automated responses, and no one ever follows up. It’s clear this company has no interest in resolving issues or treating people with basic respect. Relying on a single disinterested individual to manage tenant refunds is disgraceful.
This experience has been exhausting and deeply frustrating. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with this company. They are unresponsive, disorganized, and completely *************.
