I made a holiday booking with Happy Rhino Hotel on 11 November 2022 and paid a deposit of R20000 on 14 November 2022. The booking was informed by the misleading adverti*****t of the venue online. I subsequently read on the reviews of the accommodation and 75% are extremely negative. I further visited the place on 06 December 2022 and the comments from the reviews were confirmed. I immediately instructed Global Travel Alliance (GTASA) to cancel my booking of Happy Rhino Hotel and request for refund.
Myself and Ms Charmaine from GTASA has been interacting with the management of Happy Rhino Hotel since 06 December 2022 for a refund, with no success and cooperation from them.
The attitude they have displayed thus far does not reflect the business ethics and principles that they should uphold.
It is not an accommodation that I can spend December holidays with my family and children.
