Bad First Impression

I was at the Kalk Bay restaurant with 3 of my friends. I had made this booking on the 30th of June, then emailed to ask for a table with a view. I later called to confirm if this request had been received, and I was told a note had been made and all was in order. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were taken straight to the small, 'back' part of the restaurant and seated next to the wall - no views and not flattering. I then had to complain to the hostess, who moved us to the nicer part of the restaurant, which had several free tables. Whatever criteria she used to seat us there was unfair, and hopefully she does better in the future. Even though the waiter, Zaza, provided great service, that initial first impression was not great at all.
