Harry the removalist stay clear
Harrys furniture removals is a nightmare! Do not book! Made a booking to move on a Friday. This was confirmed. On Friday no show and no news! Rang them and they said they had truck problems and would be there Saturday morning at 8.00 am. Next morning no where to be seen. Rang the company and then the driver called and said that they would be there at 10am, eventually arrived at 11am.spent a great deal of time debating whether to go ahead with the job. I had indicated precise m3. Then they rang me and said that there would be another truck coming, I asked when and they Said immediately. This never Happened. Then they said that they could only do one load and the second load on the Sunday. Moved half of the things and wanted to be paid and the did the second load on Sunday demanding to be paid Sunday rates. Crooks and liars. Moving is already stressful, you do not need these people to be part of the process.

Absolutely disgusted
<p>Harry's Furniture Removals -</p> <p>We contacted Harry to move my parents. Paid our deposit into his account. The truck was scheduled to be on site by 08:00. On the day of the move a young lady phoned me from his office at 08:30, informing us that their truck had broken down and they cannot do the move anymore. Apparently Harry was busy with another move, first to Kathu in the Northern Cape and late the lady informed me he was on his way back from Timbuktu (guy must be brilliant to do a move from Mali in Western Africa). I then realised something was amiss. We managed to arrange for different movers to do our move and then I contacted Harry to try and get my deposit back. First he told me he will pay me at the end of the month and after that there was no response from him. He doesn't answer my phone calls and doesn't return e-mails either.</p> <p>So please, be careful of this guy, don't expect your move to happen or to be refunded.</p>

<p>What a shocking experience with this man.</p> <p>He is a thief and a liar and a very bad person.</p> <p>We make use of him to remove our furniture from Durban to Pretoria. What a BIG MISTAKE.</p> <p>He gave us a qoute of R10 000.00 to deliver our furniture to Pretoria.</p> <p>He get another person with the name of Pieter with sel nr ********** to move our goods to Deelkraal near Carletonville.He let the person download it there at Dove Alley 1-3-4-5 or 6.</p> <p>Then he phoned us and tell us that he under qoute us and that we must pay him a extra R 5000.00 to get our furniture.</p> <p>He keep our goods with him and put it in a store but refuse to give us a adress to see if our goods is safe and in good condition.He then charge us R600.00 for storage and then we battle to get our goods delivered. When we phone him he swear at you in very bad language.Too bad to mention it</p> <p>He is a shame to puplic to deal with people in this matter.</p> <p>After a struggle with him to deliver our goods he did deliver some of our furniture.</p> <p>What a hell of a shock when we see the condition of our furniture.We cannot believe our eyes.When I phoned him about the matter he had the attitude of telling that we got old furniture and he will not take responsibility for it.</p> <p>There is still goods left at his place and when I asked him when he will deliver it he said that when he got a truck available then he will deliver.In the meantime he claim from us to pay him xtra money.</p> <p>We got about R35 000.00 damage on our furniture.</p> <p>My cabinet is forced open and a lot of my fishing gear is stolen as well as old books.</p> <p>He charged us R 60.00 a box to pack the kitchen ware but it is only put into black reffuge bags and with a lot of ****age.</p> <p>He is a well known person at Carletonville police station about the theft and damage to goods of other people and also fighting with them.</p> <p>I will advise all people NOT to make use of his service becaus it is not worth it risk your gods in his hands.</p> <p>He has no respect for you when he got your goods in his hands.</p> <p>HE IS A VERY BAD CHOISE TO MAKE.</p> <p> </p>

<p>Will never use them again..... ever!!!! Broken promises, vehicle not on standard for transport, help afterwards to sort the problems THEY caused out - with sarcasm and no help to correct their mistakes.....</p>

Betaal my R3000 deposito in. Trok breek op Thabazimbi pad (propshaft boute afgebreek) kom in Ellisras die aand. Trok gehawend soos volg: Flikker lig vasgemaak met draad, bande glad, trok volgens my heeltemal on pad vaardig, brakfluid pyp lek baie olie hulle maak hom tydelik reg sien fotos op facebook gepost. Bladvere geen rubbers, trailer se A.frame swak gesweis (sien foto's op facebook. Sleepwa panele met draad vas gemaak. Trok het nie starter moet gestoot word (met 'n vrag op) SELF DIE DRYWERS ONVEILIG OM TE RY EN GEVAAR VIR MENSE OP PAD EN PADVERBRUIKERS !!!! Meubels word in trok geboender en nie gepak nie. Meubels beskadig. 2de dag moet trok maar ry, draai terug geen remme. Bel Harry vra geld terug aangesien ek ander reelings moes tref (weier my geld terug gee) hy se die trok is 100% reg volgens hom. Die advertensie op webtuiste is totaal misleidend want dit is glad nie so nie. Ek dring aan op my geld terug aangesien meubels nie vervoer is en beskadig is. Swak , geen kommunikasie , leuns. Waarsku alle mense moet hulle nie gebruik nie. Moes ander vervoer maatskappy kry om na al die ongerief die trek te ry uit Ellisras / Pretoria. Hierdie gaan ek nie hier los nie !!!!!

harry's furniture removals are a scam!!!
Cannot F believe this.. not even angry just shocked. When i moved last year (10 months ago) i made a few enquiries with furniture removal companies including #harrysfurnitureremovals . They first wanted a deposit. Thank goodness i didnt gave it to them because when they arrived at my house there was 2 skinny freaks instead of the 4 \big men\" as they promised. They arrived 2 hours late as well. My furniture is allot and everything is heavy and big. So i declined them but was nice enough to pay their petrol. Now one year later they want to sue me for R3500. WTF!! They never moved anything! I also looked on HelloPeter.. apparently they steal from people.. take deposits and never show up. People beaware!! Dont go with them!! They also work with Lizzy's furniture removals "

We wanted to move from Burgersfort to Bredasdorp. We saw a add on Facebook were Lizzy whos working for Harrys furniture removals posted about there removal business. We contacted her about using there company. They asked us to pay a deposit. We paid the deposit, but at the end of the day a day before they should have picked up our furniture.We found out that she tried to steal the money and was never going to take our furniture to Bredasdorp. The owner Harry said that he had nothing to do with it, but she was working for him and used his company. We have all the confirsations and photos that was sent to us. They did give back R2000 but doesnt want to refund the rest. Now our deposit is gone with the wind and when we asked the owner to refund the money he said that he is going to give me over to clientele. So now we are struggling to get The rest of our deposit back and we had to get a new company and paid everything again.
