I love coming to this place especially because it’s close to my house but I’ve witnessed this now 3 times I’ve been there recently. I had a waiter who was very rude to a few of my friends that I was with, we asked questions nicely or jokingly and this man replies with the rudest response with the rudest attitude, he forgot my drink but I saw him write it down and I ordered first. When it was time to pay, we split the bill and left a tip that we felt was appropriate for his service ( after the rudeness we still left a tip) and he had the audacity to stop at the last person to pay and basically stop us from paying our bill because he DEMANDED that he get more, mind you we teens and young adults ( maybe that’s why he didn’t respect us ) but he would not let us pay our bill until he got a biggger tip and this isn’t the first time and it’s with a different person, it really spoils our mood, the waiters are ruining it for you. I feel like they need to have a discussion with the waiters because we really felt harassed and like we had no choice :(

Love the environment. Milkshake is amazing!!! The cheesy 6 prawn starter is DELICIOUS! The Trinchado starter is average. Listen.... DON'T ORDER THE PIZZA. I repeat, DON'T ORDER THE PIZZA. R110 gone down the drain. That Mexicana was BLAND BLAND BLAND ???. I added salt and Tobasco sauce but it was still BLAND. Yhuuu... Abort mission when it comes to the PIZZA please. Save your money fellow countrymen ❤️

We visited Harvard Cafe yesterday morning for the breakfast buffet. To our regret. What a disappointment.. We waited 15min after sitting for a waitor to come take the drinks. I had to get up twice to get a waitor to serve us. We were seated inside, up the stairs on the deck. Not at one stage was there enough food in the trays. We had to walk down to go get eggs bacon & toast and the rest. There wasn’t clean cups so we had to walk down the stairs once again to get coffee. The coffee machine wasn’t working as well. The food was cold. All of it all the time. Can’t even comprehend that one. The music was played so loud we could hardly hear each other talk. We were booked for 10:30. At 11:15 the trays with food were being emptied and taken away. We weren’t done eating by then at all. Then all of a sudden there was pushing and shoving of tables and chairs which once again was uncomfortably loud and disturbing. All of a sudden the music was increased even louder. Was this your way of literally chasing us away in order for your afternoon seatings? That’s exactly what it felt like. This was the worst experience ever at a restaurant. The worst ever. It spoilt our Fathersday in ways I can’t express and for that I am actually heartbroken more than angry and disappointed, as the day and moment has passed. We will never get it back again. I am awaiting your feedback. Regards, Chantel Victor Audiologist T: ********** 694

Me and my family of 4 decided to go and enjoy a good dinner at The Harvard Cafe at Rand Airport, but suprisingly we had the worst experience tonight. And we are regular customers. We sat in the smoking area because the place was quite full, and we asked the manager if we can leave the door open to hear the music. He agreed. There was a group of people that had a "meeting" and didn't want any noise so they closed the door, and obviously we opened the door again, then the one guy from that "meeting" stood up with an attitude and slammed the door and starred at us very unpleasantly. Then we opened the door again and all of those people (20-25 people) stood up and attacked my brother with Racist comments and insults and wanted to get physical, (I mean come on, those people have an IQ smaller than an ant if they act that way). The manager immediately put the argument to a stop and the door was left opened (Guess who lost the argument, hahaha). After ordering starters, that GROUP of people got so loud you could not even hear each other talk at the table, so we called the manager and asked him if he can ask them to turn down the volume a bit.... guess what his response was?????? "I AM SORRY BUT I CAN'T DO THAT, THEY ARE GIVING ME GOOD BUSINESS"..... So what does that mean???? The other customers that are REGULAR are not that important like THEY ARE?????? That is really very unprofessional. Other people in the smoking area got so annoyed they stood up and left.... with having arguments with the manager.... so it shows how "important" the customers really are to him. I mean if you want to have a silent meeting, have some integrity to book the smoking area to yourself and not disturb families that go to restaurants to have peace and fun. This was the worst experience I have ever had.

On Saturday 01.10.2016 we visited Harved Cafe Rand Airport, we sat at in an area where there is a no-smoking sign against the wall. We had in our group a 8 week and 12 week old babies with us, there were 2 people smoking in the area, we inquired with the waiter as to why they allow the people to smoke in the area and we completely shut down on our request. No manager assists us, the whole evening was paid for upfront and we are truly disappointed with the service we received.

We ordered sushi at 19h15 and only recieved the sushi at 21h00. This happened while other people that arrived after us already received their sushi. Although the sushi was good, the extent to which we had to wait, really made the experience at Harvard unpleasant. I would not come again after this experience, since it has taught me that I will have to wait almost 2 hours for my food.
