This is the second time going to Hashtag nails, and I must say; as someone who has had painful manicure experiences from Sorbet nogal… Hashtag Nails is by far the best nail salon I’ve been to. It’s a very simple set up, but the nail technicians know what they’re doing, and exceed my expectations every time. The technicians skills are pretty impressive, and are open to doing any nail art you show them. And they nail it (excuse the pun) every time. I Highly recommend HashTag Nails.

I had acrylic tips done by hashtag nails. A few days later my nails started paining. I went back for a soak off and two of my nails had split in half and all my nails were red and infected. A month later, and my nails are still breaking and in pain.

On the 26th of March I had my nails done at Hash Tag Nails in Rivonia. No appointments required as per their website hashtagnails.co.za I had a soak off done and a pedi with normal paint. It had taken more than an hour. I was told my nails were dry but I checked to make sure only to have it smudged. I did inform the nail tech and she had redone that specific toe again. I waited for about 10-15mins thereafter hoping it had been dry by then, another nail tech came to spray my nails with some spray and told me that it looks dry but just wait 5 mins more which I had done. On that day, I had worn pumps but I walked out of there barefoot, drove to Rivonia Village barefoot, collected my lunch barefoot and drove back to work barefoot too. I also had went into my office barefoot and sat at my desk for another 2 hours or so like that. Then I needed to make an urgent call, I put on my pumps to go on the balcony to talk on the phone. I was shocked, my nail had totally smudged. I then took a photo and sent it to ********** on that very same day, at 3:07pm explaining what had happened but up till this day, I have not received a response from them. It was normal paint and there had used nothing, not even a fan to ensure that the nail was totally dry. Even after this mistake on their side, they didn't even have the decency to respond to my email.
