My tenant paid a deposit into their bank account upon moving in. The tenant gave notice to vacate and requested the deposit. Upon requesting the deposit from the estate agency the tenant and I were told that the agent who had placed the tenant had been fired from the company and we were told to find him and request the money back. This was 12th Dec 2017. It is now the 9th of Feb 2018 and to date neither the company, hash tag properties, nor the agent, bright sibanda, have taken responsibility.
Instead each keep passing the buck! Something needs to be done. The money was not paid into an individual's account but the actual company's account .
