I recently purchased a new vehicle from Melrose VW and had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Tintswalon. From the very first interaction, the service was professional, transparent, and genuinely customer-focused. Tintswalon took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, answered all my questions with patience and clarity, and guided me through every step of the process. The entire experience was smooth, efficient, and stress-free. I truly appreciated the regular updates and the attention to detail, which made me feel confident in my purchase. It’s rare to find such dedicated and personable service these days. I highly recommend Tintswalon and the team at Melrose VW to anyone looking for a new vehicle. Thank you for making this such a positive and memorable experience!

"I recently had my car serviced at Hartfield VW Pretoria and had an excellent experience with Tebogo Gontse. He thoroughly inspected my car, explained things I wasn't aware of, and provided great advice. If VW has more staff like Tebogo, they'll definitely go far! I'd highly recommend Hartfield VW to anyone in Pretoria - great service!"

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership and paid for the licence and registration fees. Unfortunately, the temporary licence is about to expire, and the dealership appears to be unaware of this. As a result, I am unable to legally drive the vehicle because it has no permanent number plates. Despite multiple attempts to make contact, the salesperson, Jaydon Sallie, has been ignoring my calls and has not provided any feedback or resolution. The dealership itself is not willing to offer any support, or even information, which makes this very frustrating. This situation has left me unable to use a car that I have already paid for, which is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I would not recommend this dealership based on my experience.

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received when I purchased my Volkswagen vehicle in [month] 2022. The vehicle had approximately 44,000km on the odometer at the time of purchase, and I was informed that it would be covered under a service plan for 45,000km/3 years. However, instead of performing the scheduled service, VW only conducted an 80-point check. Now, with the vehicle having reached 60,000km, I am being asked to pay for the third service that was due last year when I purchased the vehicle. I believe that VW owes me one service, considering the vehicle's mileage and the service plan that was supposed to be in place. When I raised this issue with your team, I was misled into believing that the service had been done. It was only when I requested the service history that I discovered the truth. To my surprise, VW required me to purchase a new service plan for three years, which cost me R13,000. I purchased this service plan solely because I wanted to ensure that my vehicle was properly maintained, and I expected VW to honor their initial commitment. I am now seeking reimbur*****t for the service that was not performed and the additional costs I incurred due to VW's failure to deliver on their promises. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter urgently and provide a resolution. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Regards Zee 072 653 5837

I bought the car (VW Caravelle T6.1 with (90k+ kilometers) from Hatfield VW Revonia (saleperson was Ultlyn Koopman) in October 2024, I got the delivery of the car on 2nd November 2024. On the 5th November 2024 the car needed got back to the dealership because of the warning lights that came on and the scratches on the car and on the mags. I got it back on the car around the 22nd November 2024. We were only doing short trips until we went to Durban on the 9th of December 2024. On our way to Durban around 18:50 the car went to limp mode, was losing power and dashboard warning lights came on again and I sent the pictures to the dealership sales guy Ultlyn Koopman. On our way we would stop and wait and continue again driving as the forced us to do to stops. He sent me the VW road side assist number to call if the is not moving, which I did call VW road side assist incase we get stuck, tI spoke to the lady, told her about what we experiencing with the car, she check the nearest town for standby technician, the guy said we can continue driving if the issue persist we must call we will come assist. The lady from VW road side assist kept on checking on us while we were on the road. I parked the car on our arrival in Durban, we didn't use it, until we left Durban to Eastern Cape, we left drove the car doing the limp mode thing till I got to Eastern Cape on the 13th December, parked the car didn't use it. I told the dealership guys I'm gona to Cape Town on the 2nd of January 2025 and I'm worried if the car will get to Cape Town, they made arrangements for to the car to the nearest VW branch which was in Queenstown Kelston VW, I took the car to Kelston VW on 30th of December 2024, they checked the car and they said the issue is caused by fuel contamination, they said they will make quote for authorisation as to whose gona pay for the car which I refused them to fix the car and disputed the fuel contamination thing. When I was back from Cape Town on the 13th January 2025 I took the VW Revonia upon on their doing their tests communicating with VW South Africa they found out its the issue with DPF and Fuel filter are blocked. Now the refusing to fix the car saying VW South Africa & Hatfield VW doesn't want to fix the car because of the note made by Queenstown Kelston VW because they flagged the car on VW system. They know very well the issue of PDF on VW 4Motion/4x4 cars. The Hatfield master cars manager Gift is giving me run around he know very well about the issues the car has

Guys please don't buy cars from this VW, they sell sh#*!!! How do sell a car to people and don't tell them the car is out of warranty. If you don't buy brand-new, please don't buy at all. I bought a T-Cross 6-months ago and now the boot don't open, I didn't know the car was out of warranty so I took it back and to my surprise I have to pay cash to get it fixed. Also when they want your sale they response with speed to your messages but when you have an issue!! You will wait days before they come back to you. Please guys Miguel & Lebo are the worst sales people I have ever come across. DON"T DO BUSSINESS with them!!!!

VW Melrose Johannesburg need to train their Parts advisor Peter on professional conduct. Unfortunately for VW reputation Peter does not know how to speak to clients, completely failed to complete sale on a multiple parts purchase. The explanation I received from Peter for the lack of professionalism and the manner in which he conducts himself is that as a parts advisor he is too busy to assist clients... buying parts? Peter please do request from your company a training course. VW Hatfield please do send Peter on training. Hiring people like Peter will tarnish your brand. Thank you Peter for giving me the opportunity to find other suppliers – very impressed with VW Rivonia.
